  • Heroic
  • Into The Breach

  • ENCE
  • G2 Esports

  • Team Liquid
  • GamerLegion

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Legends Stage – Team to Qualify 3-0

Names like Heroic, Vitality and FaZe Clan come into our minds who have the ability to complete the Legends Stage undefeated. But we are going to pick the 2021 PGL Major winner NAVI, who will have no trouble going 3-0 and reaching the Legends Stage early. As their first match in this Major, they are facing GamerLegion in Swiss Round 1, which should be a dominating victory for NAVI. The Ukrainian side seems to finally have gotten their act together with their current lineup, and will pose a danger to any who come in their way.

We don’t really have to give any further reasons to support our claim here, as going with NAVI is one of the safest picks we could make, but we’ll do it anyway. The Ukrainians are looking to be at the top of their game at this point in time. Decent runs in IEM Rio 2023, ESL Pro League Season 17 and IEM Katowice 2023 were underscored by issues within the team, but those seem to have since evaporated. Plus, with Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev still being one of the top 3 players in the world, NAVI are going to be one of the toughest squads in this Major.

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Legends Stage – Other Teams to Qualify

This is part of the Pick ‘Em that’s the hardest to predict, especially in a Major event where we’re talking about the best CSGO teams in the world. After a bit of careful consideration and a lot of hunches, we have finally confirmed our Pick ‘Ems of the qualifying teams. These are the names who will advance into the Champions Stage alongside NAVI –

FaZe vs FORZE Preview and Predictions: BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage

Heroic

The runner-ups of IEM Rio 2023 are going to have a good head start facing FaZe in their first Legends Stage match. We expect Heroic to avoid the low rounds of this stage and reach the Champions Stage with a 3-1 record.

The Norwegians will also be a great threat to other squads in the Playoffs, repeating their performance of last year’s IEM Rio Major. Also, don’t forget that they beat many of the teams currently in the Legends Stage only a month ago in IEM Rio 2023, further strengthening our prediction.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

While the start for Ninjas in Pyjamas in the Legends may not look too hot as they have to face Fnatic, they can crawl through and reach the final stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. By “crawl through,” we mean the Ninjas will have some challenging Best of 1s and will have to fight in the low-round matches to reach the Playoffs.

Danyyl “headtr1ck” Valitov and Fredrik “REZ” Sterner are going to be Ninjas’ most important players. With these members continuing their pace, we will see NIP defeating and eliminating some of the highly-ranked rosters to reach the final stage.

FURIA

With one of the best CSGO players right now on the roster, FURIA will have a great run in the Legends Stage. Yes, we are talking about Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato, who has led the Brazilian squad directly to this stage with an incredible 4-0 run in the American RMR. FURIA also reached the ESL Pro League S17’s Playoffs this year. All these achievements have crafted their path to becoming one of the top 10 squads in the world right now!

We predict the Brazilians to reach the Champions Stage with a 3-1 record. Their first game of this Major will be against Monte, which should be an easy victory for FURIA. So, make sure to keep an eye on the best Brazilian name in this Major.

9INE

Although the Swedish roster doesn’t look as scary as some of the other teams when you consider their current global ranking, you have to look no further than their exceptional RMR performance, which allowed them to secure the second seed in the Legends Stage. During their European RMR matches, 9INE shocked everyone with their domination against G2, BIG and Vitality.

Their streak of wins in the RMR is even crazier, considering this squad has primarily been in B-tier events most of this year. So, if you have only been following larger tournaments, 9INE may have been under your radar before the RMRs.

G2

It was a bit unexpected to see G2 failing to reach the Legends Stage directly from their RMR matches, but they have finally arrived here with a 3-0 record in the Challengers.

Grayhound vs Liquid Preview and Predictions: BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage

Different from many other teams in this Major, G2 were absent from the IEM Rio 2023 and Brazy Party, making it even harder to predict whether they will have a strong run in the Legends Stage or will struggle to make it. However, we are fairly sure they will reach the Champions Stage, as, after all, they are one of the Legends of CSGO!

ENCE

ENCE were the best squad in the Challengers League, with a 3-0 record and wins against OG, NIP and FaZe. Their first Legends Stage match will be against Bad New Eagles, which we expect ENCE to win without much trouble. This Finnish roster will likely reach the Champions Stage with a 3-2 record.

ENCE’s RMR run was sloppy at first, as they lost both of their first Bo1 and had to compete in the low-round games. However, they switched up their performance in the next three Bo3s, winning all of them by 2-0 scores and defeating Cloud9 in the process.

Vitality

The French are going to be one of the most formidable opponents to face in the Legends Stage, and they might join NAVI to grab a quick 3-0 record. With the IEM Rio 2023 trophy in their hand and a 5-1 run in the European RMR, Vitality are not a force to mess with, as they are the second-best team in the world right now.

With Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, the current best CSGO player on the roster, Vitality are going to crush G2 on their first Major game. Also, this goes without saying that Vitality might just take the Major trophy home, considering their recent performance!

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Legends Stage – Team to Get Eliminated 0-3

Monte, Team Liquid and GamerLegion barely made it to the Legends Stage, and among them, we predict GamerLegion to get eliminated from this stage without winning a single game.

Don’t be confused; they are not a terrible squad at all, especially after eliminating teams like MOUZ, OG and FORZE in low matches of the Challengers stage! But we think the Legends Stage won’t be kind to the Germans when they have to face some of the strongest contenders in the world. GamerLegion will be fighting NAVI on their first Legends Stage match due to having the worst seeding from Challengers.

We are covering the BLAST.tv Major 2023 extensively. So, keep an eye on ESTNN for previews, news and updates on the Major.
