Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Guide Season 1

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, all of the times quests in Season 1 you need to complete to get through the Battle Pass.

Fortnite Chapter 4 has kicked off with a new map and loads of new content. If you want to hit the highest tiers of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Battle Pass and unlock skins like Doom Slayer and Geralt, though, you’ll have to gain a lot of XP. If you want the bonus skins, you’ll need even more than just getting through the standard 100. The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests are one of the best ways to get high XP, quickly.

The Fortnite quests are divided between the seasonal questlines, dailies, and then the weeklies. While the daily quests are the most pressing, once you’ve quickly grabbed those three the weeklies are the next challenges for you to do. Some of these can be tricky, though. If you want to get things done quickly, you’ll need to make sure you’re using the best strategies.

There have been a few changes to how Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests work this season. Compared to Chapter 3, you’ll have to act on the quests quicker. They now reset. That means if you miss them, you miss them. In the past, you could leave them all until the last day before you even acted. Now you’ve got to get on them that week or they’ll expire. This makes it more important to get them done faster than in previous Seasons.

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests and the best ways to get the more complicated ones done.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Weekly Quest

Week 12 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The twelfth week of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests is here and we’re nearing the end of the season. We’re now approaching the point where Epic starts handing out extra rewards to help make sure you’re getting through those Bonus rewards before the season ends. This week’s quests are going to give extra XP just to help get you over the line.

This set of challenges is a bit of a grab-bag. It's back to making pretty heavy use of new items and features for this Chapter. The official title though is Adrenaline Rush! A lot of it is themed around grabbing points for tricks and risky behaviour on the vehicles in-game.

Most of these are fairly self-explanatory. If you want to get through the quests quickly though, looking at optimal strategy can be a big way to get that done. These are the Fortnite Weekly Quests for this period and the quickest way to complete all of them.

Week 12

Consume Slap Berries in a Single Match Slap Berries - Fortnite Weekly Quests

  • 5 Needed
  • 16K XP

To complete this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests, you’ll just need to eat a few berries for a little snack. All you’ve got to do is eat five slap berries! This does have to be a single game, but that doesn’t really complicate things very much.

Slap Berries grow on bushes which provide 4 on each bush, in groupings of at least three bushes. Usually running into even one of these bushes is going to get you over the line for this quest. Just track down the bush and eat the berries to get 16K XP.

Get 3 Seconds of Air Time in a Land Vehicle

  • 16K XP

For this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, you’ve got to grab time in the air for 3 whole seconds, longer than it might seem for a lot of the vehicles. While Fortnite only has cars and bikes right now, for some reason they’ve specified that it’s land vehicles only. This one isn’t too hard, but you’ll need to head to a specific area to get it done or get some help.

One quick way would be to get shockwave hammered in a vehicle. This can knock you up for quite a while, definitely long enough to get the 3 seconds of air time needed here.

The other option is to make use of the bikes which are much floater than cars outside of the old Rocket League collab. If you’re doing it this way, there’s one spot which is unbeatable for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. The Citadel.

This tall building usually has dirt bikes just in front of it. Grab a bike from here, head to the top of the Citadel. If you can drive off of it to the North, you’ll be more than 3 seconds worth up in the air. You’re also over water so nothing to worry about if the jump goes wrong.

Emote for 5 Seconds While or After claiming A Capture Point

Fortnite Chapter 4 Capture

  • 16K XP

The Capture Points are a fun new mechanics in the game right now. These have come up earlier in these Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. For this one, it’s a fairly simple task. Head to a capture point, capture the POI, then emote for a few seconds. If might be easiest to do this while you’re capturing it, since you’re basically a sitting duck for that time period anymore.

To get this done quickly, there are a few ways to make it simpler. You can protect yourself while you’re claiming a capture point. If you can find a Port-a-bunker in Zero Builds or just build in Build mode, you can be turtled up while claiming. You can then use the emote for 5 seconds in relative safety without anyone being able to line a shot up on you.

Another way to make it quicker is going to be picking the right capture point or waiting a little. Once most players from a POI are either dead or rotating, you just need to claim the capture point in an emptier POI. You can also go for POIs that are at the end of the bus route, and generally avoid the ones with Cold Blooded vaults.

Earn 50,000 Trick Points in a Single match While Riding the Dirt Bike

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 16K XP

Earning Trick Points on a dirt bike has already come up a few times if you’ve been completing all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. This is where you can perform tricks in the air or wheelies on the ground. Doing tricks awards points. Each time you stop the tricks, you’ll get the counter reset. However, to finish this quest it keeps adding to your total for an entire game.

The key thing with this quest is going to be maximizing your time making jumps and pulling tricks in-game. That means grabbing yourself a dirt bike and taking aim at every single ledge or ramp. When not in the air pulling tricks, hold the trick button to perform a wheelie and continue adding to your total.

If you do this, you should be able to get it wrapped up in a single game. It’ll probably work easier in Team Rumble, but it won’t take so long that you can’t do it in Battle Royale.

Destroy Objects

  • 10 Objects
  • 16K XP

This is an easy one, destroy ten objects. Doesn’t really need any strategy to get this one right. You can probably do it in a single house.

Deal Damage to Opponents with Assault Rifles

The Assault Rifle available in Fortnite, a pale tan automatic rifle with a grey clip sits against an orange background

  • 4 Stages
  • 16K XP Per Stage

This last one challenges you to make use of Assault Rifles, and not for the first time. It’s a four-stage quest with each giving out XP. You’ll need to rack up quite a lot of damage to finish it up. For the most part, this one can be a passive quest.

As you play, you’ll probably be using ARs a fair amount. Just use them, and gradually you’ll clock up enough damage. If that’s too slow for your min/max approach to Fortnite quests though, head to Team Rumble. Hold only an AR and spend the entire game just mindlessly blasting. You’ll get through this quest in no time.

Week 11 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The latest round of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests is here. These are a new batch, and they’re fairly plain quests considering all of the craziness currently in the game with the Most Wanted update. Instead, these quests are just based on basic parts of the game. You’re not pushed to get involved with any specific new content this time around.

Most of this batch of quests are fairly self-explanatory. As always though, you can get it optimized if you really want to blow through them quickly. Players can simply push through them pretty soon if you’re doing everything in the quickest possible way.

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests have a few ways to get it done quicker. These are all of this week’s quests and the best way to get them done.

Deal Damage with Assault rifles

Fortntie V23.40 Patch Notes

  • 300 damage Needed
  • 16K XP

This is one of the longer quests in this batch, but like most of them, it’s really quite simple. You just need to rack up 300 damage against players with assault rifles. These guns are a pretty key part of most loadouts so you’re likely going to get through this quest pretty simply.

What’s fun about this one is it could be a great chance to try one of the new weapons. The latest Assault Rifle with explosive rounds counts for this quest. You can likely find one in the new Cold Blooded Vaults.

Hide in a Haystack, a Leaf Pile, and a Giant Snowball in a Single Match

  • All three in one quest
  • 16K XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests is also pretty simple. You’ve got to “hide” in a haystack, a leaf pile, and a giant snowball in one match. This probably won’t take you too long. Hiding is a bit of a misnomer here though, since you’re not using the “Hide” mechanic from garbage bins and porta-a-pottys for two out of three. You just need to walk inside of one for it to register, or actually jump in with the snowball.

It’s probably best to do this one with the snowball first. It’s the biggest pain out of the three. Once you’ve got some basic loot, start pickaxing the ground to gather snow. Once it’s big enough, hop inside and travel until your quest registers as one of three. Heading immediately out of the snow area there’s plenty of leaf piles in the area moving into the center of the map. Haystacks might be trickier. Around farm buildings, you’ll find these. If you don’t encounter one then you can head all the way to Frenzy Fields, where there’s plenty though. This should let you get it done fairly quickly.

Fall 3 Stories or more into a big bush

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 16K XP

This one is quite specific but actually a lot easier to do than it seems. You need to fall off a building into a big bush, not a normal bush, but specifically a big bush bomb bush! This one can be done whenever you run into a big bush bomb around the map.

The simplest way is to do it in Battle Royale or Team Rumble, not Zero Builds. Pick up the big bush bomb. Then build three levels up, throw the bomb, and walk off the edge into it. This way there’s no estimating needed about how high you are, and you won’t die to fall damage attempting to get the quest done.

Damage Opponents From 30 or More Meters with a Rocket Launcher

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Rocket Launcher

  • 16K XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests is one of the trickier ones. You’ll need to deal damage to opponents with a Rocket Launcher, but you’ll have to do it from 30 meters away. This is a bit further than is ideal with a rocket launcher, but it’s still pretty doable.

Hitting moving targets is tricky with those slow rockets. Aiming at the feet where an opponent is walking is the easiest way to get guaranteed damage from that distance. If an opponent doesn’t know you’re there, they might not even notice the rocket coming in.

A full hit from a Rocket launcher does decent damage, so one hit might finish off the quests. If you only hit the area close to them it’ll take a few goes, but even the more distanced players will get some damage that counts.

Open Chests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 4 Stages
  • 16K XP

The next of the quests is the tiered one for this week. This one might take a few games just given how lengthy it is, but it isn’t hard. Every chest that you open counts toward this quest. Just play your normal games and open chests as usual. Over time you’re going to clock up enough of them to get this one done.

The chests will contribute in basically every game mode. You also get three different rewards for each tier of the quest. That’s going to pay off quite a bit and help you get through those Bonus Rewards a bit quicker!

Travel Distance

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 4 Stages
  • 16K XP per Stage

The next four stages are another one that you basically don’t need to think about. It’s just to travel distances. Not using any specific mode of transport, just move around the map. There are still some ways you can optimize this if you want to.

Since there are 4 different stages for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests, it can take a while to get through the whole thing. With quite a few weeks left of the season, it’s not that crazy that you’ll get through them all accidentally. If you want to speed things up though then there are some steps you can take.

Players can grind through this, possibly even in one go in team rumble. Grab a mode of transport that lets you get around quickly. It can be a Shockwave hammer, it can be a bike, or even a car if you don’t mind filling up with gas occasionally.  Head to an open space in Team Rumble and just go back and forth! It’s dull, but that’s the best way to game this quest. Although, it’s easier if you just play the game, rotate, and let it happen on its own.

Week 10 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

It’s our second week of no expiry date for the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests! Hopefully, you’ve not let too many stack up to do later though. This latest batch is pretty simple. You’ve got to engage with a few different POIs and new features like the Slurp Barrels. However, most should be easy for players to get through the first week if they’re playing quite a bit.

The theme of this week’s quests is Slurp on Ice! Or slurp and ice. You’re going to be making use of various slurp items in high quantities, along with more quests relating to the ice biome on the map. That area had a real focus in this Season of the game, especially compared to the other new POIs. This could be an early hint that we’re going to be losing this area when we finally get Chapter 4 Season 2! Or Epic could just love this spot and we’re going to have weekly quests on ice every week for the whole Chapter.

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. While most of them are pretty simple, there are quite a few which have an easier way to complete them. We’ll run through the best strategies if you want to get them done as fast as possible.

Visit Frosty Firs, Lonely Labs, and Brutal Bastion

  • Visit all 3 in one stage
  • 16K XP

This one just has you visit three different POIs on the map. The first quests is pretty easy, there’s a very simple route through them all too. This part of the map has great mobility. If you land at Lonely Labs, the path to the next two isn’t going to take long with all of the launchpads that are scattered around that side of the map. Just head to all three and get your XP for completing this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests.

Travel on Frozen Surfaces

  • 25000 needed
  • 16K XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests for Season 1 is pretty similar to what we’ve had before. You just need to travel distance on frozen surfaces. You don’t need to use a particular form of travel, just rack up enough points.

If you want to do this one all at once, just land on the large frozen pond and walk up and down until you hit it. Although, if you land around Brutal Bastion frequently then it’ll be easier to just play as normal and let this quest gradually complete itself. Given the number of quests in this area this week, you’re going to be able to get it done really just by moving around the map to finish off every other quest line.

Search Ice Machines or Coolers

  • 10 Needed
  • 16K XP

For this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests, you just need to search through the ice machines that hold fish or the coolers on the map. The Ice Machines are usually located around gas stations. Coolers you’ll find just about everywhere, sometimes just laying around on a path waiting to be discovered.

For this one, you only need to search ten of them. It doesn’t have to be a single game either, so players aren’t going to have too much trouble.  Just open one up when you go by it. You’ll finish it in a week if you play enough.

Hit Opponents While Standing on Snow or Ice

  • 50 Damage Needed
  • 16K XP

This is another quest centred around the ice biome. It’s a little trickier, but you don’t need to deal much damage. You only need to get 50 damage racked up. That’s while you’re standing on ice. The best solution is to hang around areas and wait for an opponent to appear, with just a few shots you’ll complete this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests.

Restore Health or Gain Shields from Slurp

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP for Each Stage

This one of the quests is our first this week with multiple stages. You need to restore health and shield from slurp meds. That’s slurp barrels, the Chug Cannon, or chug splashes. They all deal out slurp. There’s also the recently unvaulted slurp juice that counts here too!

There are a few Augments which are going to make this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests a breeze. Get the Augment for a Chug Cannon or the one that allows you to find chug splashes in every container. With that, just play normally and heal up with chug whenever you can!

You’ll make gradual progress through the tiers this way. You’ll need to heal quite a lot to actually finish the whole thing off. However, players can make progress in every match if they keep this in mind and try to use slurp as your meds at every possible occasion. If you really want to cheese your way through it, you can repeatedly give yourself fall damage in Team Rumble, then heal yourself with the chug cannon. This is much more time-consuming and boring compared to just playing normally though!

Destroy Slurp Barrels

  • 3 Stages
  • 16K XP for Each

The next of the quests with different increments and tiers is to destroy slurp barrels. This one has quite a few stages, but each gives XP and it’s not too difficult of a task. This one is best completed gradually. Destroy every slurp barrel that you see, doesn’t matter if you need the heals or not

Slurp barrels don’t have a central POI that is going to make this easy like in Chapter 2. However, there are some places where you can find quite a few of them in every game. The stone buildings in the ice area all have sections that are hidden through secret doors. These have buried chests and usually 2-5 slurp barrels. Since each of these locations also has a launchpad, it’s pretty quick to rotate through them. If you’re looking to get this quest done as quickly as possible, then moving through each of these buildings is a quick way to do quite a few tiers.

Week 9 Fortntie Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

A new batch of Fortnite Weekly Quests has hit the game! This time, there’s been a big change. The Fortnite Weekly Quests no longer expire! Players don’t need to waste time making sure they’re grinding through every single challenge every single week. If you miss some, you’re free to catch up later after the Fortnite V23.30 Patch!

You do now have extra time to complete all of the quests. However, if you want to get through all of them, you’ll need to pay attention to the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests each week and try to make a start on the trickier ones, or you might end up with loads to do at the end of the Season.

This week’s new quests are all in the game. If you’re a fan of this season’s Oathbound content, these are going to be a breeze! Most of the new quests are focusing on the items like the Oathbound chests, the Falcon, and Ex Caliber Rifle. These are all of the Quests, and the simplest ways to get them all done as quickly as possible.

Search Oathbound Chests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 5 Needed
  • 16K XP

This is a pretty simple one for the start of the week, search Oathbound Chests. These are the larger white chests that drop cool gear this season like the Hammer and Falcon Scout. These also drop extra meds so they’re one of the better ways to loot up quickly. These chests are spread around the map, but there are some key places you can drop to ensure you get an Oathbound Chest.

It’s easiest to find these chests around the Citadel, between the few drops here you can normally get one or usually at least two Oathbound Chests. You should also focus on the large stone buildings in the style of the Citadel which are spread all over the map. If you land on one of these two towards outside of the Citadel to the west, then take the zipline to the second tower before hitting the spawns in the Citadel itself, you could get all five in a single 2-minute rotation.

That’s a particularly quick route. However, if you’re hitting all the right buildings in each game you’ll have this one done in no time.

Deploy Guardian Shields

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests - Guardian Shield

  • 5 needed
  • 16K XP

This is another simple quest, one you can probably get done alongside the first of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. For this challenge, all you need to do is deploy the Guardian Shield. You do this by using the alternative fire button, which throws the shield down in front of you. Even if you don’t use the Guardian Shield much, it’s worth picking one up whenever you see it to deploy and knock off another of these 5.

You can likely find Guardian Shields pretty easily at the moment. They often drop from Oathbound Chests, but also other spots you can find loot. Every time, you see one, deploy it, then get on with your game! You’ll be through this one of the weekly challenges really quickly this way.

Damage Players with the Ex-Caliber Rifle

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Ex-Caliber

  • 1000 Damage Needed
  • 16K XP

The Ex-Caliber Rifle is a particularly fun item that fires out exploding shards. This quest challenges you to get 1000 damage total with the gun! If you’re hitting opponents with the shards this shouldn’t take too long. The weapon hits for damage when it makes contact then again once the shard explodes.

Since we now have all season to do the quests, this one isn’t too difficult. As long as you’re not avoiding the gun for some reason you’ll gradually rack up this damage. If you want to get it done quickly though, there’s an easy solution. Head into Team Rumble, find the gun, and get 1,000 damage thanks to quick respawns. You could even try to take down the boss at the Citadel for a guaranteed Ex-Caliber.

Search Chests with the Falcon Scout in a Single Match

  • 5 Chests needed
  • 16K XP

This is where we actually start to get to some harder quests! This one has you using the Falcon Scout in the game, but you’ll have to search chests using the scout. You need 5 chests in a single game if you want to succeed here.

If you’ve mainly been using the Falcon scout just for spotting enemies or ignoring it entirely, this quest might seem tricky on the surface. It’s really quite simple once you get your head around it though. You just need to fly the scout towards a chest and open like you would if you walked up to a chest. It’s pretty easy.

Getting five done might mean you need to do this in an emptier area to avoid your scout getting shot down. Although, doing it in Team Rumble can work too. You might have to put up with being in the storm for a little while, but you can probably get it done on the outskirts of a game while ignoring enemy players.

Collect Oathbound Items

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Shockwave Hammer

  • 4 Stages

This is the first of this batch of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests to have multiple stages. These ones take a bit longer to complete, although this particular quest shouldn’t cause you too many problems. You just need to pick up Oathbound items throughout games. This is going to be easy enough especially as you’re completing the open Oathbound Chests quest. If you want to make sure you’re picking up every applicable item though, these are all of the oathbound items in the game right now:

  • Shockwave Hammer
  • Ex-Caliber Rifle
  • Guardian Shield
  • Falcon Scout

Every time you see one of these items, you can pick it up and tick off another part of this quest.

Hit headshots

  • 4 Stages

This is the final quest for this batch of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests! Although, there are a few crossover ones still to cover. This is a fairly simple quest. You just need to get headshots. Although, with four different stages you’ve got a lot to grind through before you reach the upper limit of these quests! There’s no trick here, just focus on headshots and try to hit as many of them as possible.

Collect Dragon Balls

The final one of the quests addresses the new Dragon ball content. Players have to head to the Dragon ball Adventure Creative Map and run through some of the in-map objectives there to collect Dragon balls. If you played the last crossover, it’s unchanged from them.

Week 8 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The new batch of Fortnite Weekly Quests is here! This set of challenges follows a slightly truncated batch last time. We’re back to a full spread for this week, although with some changes. To reduce the FOMO (or fear of missing out) effect Epic is making some changes. They aren’t going back to the old, kinder system where you could catch up at the end of the season. No, the nicer system of quests that we had for three whole Chapters is apparently gone for good.

Instead, they’ve made the Weekly Quests with multiple stages a bit easier. These multi-stage quests are now going to have easier-to-achieve goals, rather than trying to get you to herd animals or anything else that relies on RNG. This week's quests are definitely simpler.

With that in mind, these new quests don’t look too bad. Most players should be able to burn through them quickly. These are the new Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Open Chests

A rickety old treasure chest gives of a glowing, golden aura in the game Fortnite

  • 3 Needed
  • 16 XP

This one is probably the most basic of the Fortnite Weekly Quests we’ve gotten. Just open some chests. You probably don’t even need to think about this one, it’ll be gone as soon as you bother going through a game.

Deal Damage with a Pistol

Fortnite Chapter 4 Pistol

  • 250 Needed
  • 16K XP

This one is also fairly simple but might take a bit more dedicated effort. Just deal damage with a pistol. You’ll likely clock this up during landing stages on matches. Although, the Pistol isn’t the slouch that it used to be. When you use the right Augments, it might be worth actually running a pistol occasionally.  If it’s getting to the end of the week and you still haven’t gotten this one, consider doing a pistol game! It can be surprisingly fun with its dedicated perks.

Deal Damage with an SMG

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Machine SMG

  • 250 Needed
  • 16K XP

This is the next quest, very similar to the one above. This time you’re dealing damage with an SMG. If you’re not running one of them this season, head into Team Rumble. Although, as a whole, it isn’t going to be too difficult. A few firefights with an SMG should get you over the line and have this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests done.

Earn Eliminations

  • 3 Needed
  • 16K XP

The next one of the Fortnite Weekly quests is to eliminate 3 other opponents! This one isn’t going to be very difficult for most players. It’s probably achievable in a single game for most. No special strategy here, just grab some kills.

Throw Something

  • 16K XP

The quests in this batch are definitely easier! Just use that part of the controls where you can throw something. Some players might have forgotten about this, but you can throw a lot of items! Meds are the simplest.

Throw Something Within Five Seconds of Damaging an Opponent

  • 16K XP

This is where we get a bit more difficult. You’ve got to throw something pretty quickly after you’ve dealt damage. This one might sound like a pain, but there’s an easy way to get it done.

Just throw something after eliminations. You don’t have to do it enough times for this to be a problem. There’s no sense in trying to throw something mid-fight, just chuck your item immediately after confirming the elimination. This way you’re not vulnerable for a few seconds unless you’re getting third partied.

Hide in Different Bushes That You Threw Down

Consumable Bush in Fortnite on an orange background

  • 2 Needed
  • 16K XP

This one takes advantage of a fun new item added in the last hotfix. The throwable bush. Just pick up some of these port-a-bush items, throw the grenades to make a bush appear, and then hide in it.

You’ll need to use two different bushes. They come in stacks of 2 though, so this should take about thirty seconds after you run into the new item.

Eliminate a Player with no Ranged Weapons in Your Inventory and While on Foot

  • 1 Needed
  • 16K XP

This is probably on the harder side of all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests this week. You’ve got to get an elim, but not just a standard one. You’ll need to get an elim while you’re on foot and have no ranged weapons. If you can do this with the melee items, it can be easily enough provided you drop everything else. Although, if you’re trying to use grenades then Team Rumble might be less frustrating, you can keep respawning, throwing them out, and just wait until it grabs a kill for you.

Use Chug Splashes, Grenades, and Fireflies

A Fortnite Chug Splash on a purple background

  • Multiple Tiers
  • 16K XP Each Tier

This one of the quests is focused on using items that you throw out, be they heals, bugs, or explosives. This one has multiple tiers which can be a pain to get through. Although, it offers XP for each tier. There’s a higher reward for completing this one of the weekly quests since you get the prize after each and every tier.

There are some ways to speed this quest up. Anytime you see a firefly or grenade, throw it. Most players probably don’t both to carry these items for action. However, throwing them instead of ignoring them will make this quicker.

Using the Chug Medic Augment to grab a chug splash in most containers will help too. It counts toward the quest even if you don’t heal yourself with it. If you have no more room for meds then just chuck some chug splashes and continue grinding away at these tiers.

Finish Anything but First in Different Matches

  • Multiple Tiers
  • 16K XP

This is the second of the grinding tiered quests. Thankfully, it’s got an easy goal. Just play games without coming in first. That’s not the most difficult task! Unless you really can’t stop yourself from grabbing repeat Crown Royales, this one might end up being matches played. If it gets to the night before expiry, you can even just do this on a loop. Load up matches, die to fall damages, and repeat until you’re through the tiers. Otherwise, just wait over a few days and try to play enough matches.

Week 7 – Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Weekly Quests

This week of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests is surprisingly basic! These could really all be dailies and no one would bat an eye. There’s nothing in this batch that specifically uses the most recent update’s content like the Falcon. Although, using some of the new items is going to make this a lot easier!

This week of quests didn’t quite work as normal. For some reason, they failed to appear when the last batch ended. This left us without quests for a few days. The slightly delayed update is now here though, and we have new quests. They’re surprisingly basic too, so it does make for an easier week for players. These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests for this week.

Crack an Opponent’s Shields or Have Your Cracked

  • 16K XP

This one is pretty basic; you don’t even really have to think about it. All you’re going to need to do is crack a shield or have your own shield cracked. If you’re not up with the Fortnite terminology, that just means take or give damage to break a shield. This is going to happen at some point in your first game of the week. Provided you don’t die to storm, you will either get an elim or get eliminated with your shield cracked.

Restore Health or Shield with Fortnite Augments

Fortnite V23.30 - Augments

  • 250 Health or Shield Needed
  • 16K XP

This one is pretty simple too and it is even easier with the new Fortnite Augments. In this quest, you need to use healing augments to regain health or shield. 250 isn’t too crazy of a target. If you’ve got a game where you’re pushing this is doable in a single match, otherwise you can clock this up without too much effort.

The best Augment for getting this done is Bush Warrior. That restores health and shield to 50 when you’re in a bush. It’s the quickest way of healing in the game. If you get Bush Warrior in a match, make use of it whenever you take damage and you should have this sorted pretty quickly. The Siphon Fortnite Augment are going to work too. Although, you need to use specific weapons to make those heal you. If you’re focusing on the shotguns or doing a hot drop where you’re going to get kills with uncommon weapons, then they can be viable for getting this quest finished as well.

Reroll Augments in Different Matches

  • 5 Different Matches with Rerolls
  • 16K XP

This is another quest which is probably going to get done without too much work from players. You need to reroll your Augment choices in five different matches. The first reroll is free, so you don’t even have to spend gold.

Unless you get your favorite OP Augments the first time each game, chances are you do at least a little rerolling. If you play five matches this week, it’s not going to cause any problems to get this one done.

Mark Enemies in a Single Match

Fortnite V23.30 - Falcon Scout

  • 10 Enemies in One game
  • 16K XP

This is where things get a bit tougher for this week of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. You need to ping or mark 10 enemies, in a single game. That’s 10% of the lobby, which could be a problem if you’re relying on the Bloodhound Augment to get it done.

The new Falcon Scout item will make your life a lot easier with this quest. These can Caw to mark enemies in their vicinity. You might not get 10 at once, but if you use it multiple times in a game you might be able to climb your way up to 10. There’s an alternative option as well which should make this one a breeze if looting goes your way.

Team Rumble has high player counts and a pretty small circle by the end of the game. If you can get a Falcon Scout in this game mode, you can get this quest done very quickly. Once you’ve got a Falcon Scout, wait until later in the game. The circle should narrow down and you’ll likely have loads more than 10 enemies moving around in a small space. Deploy the Scout, caw, and get all ten marked at once. This should get the quest done pretty easily. In Battle Royale, it’s more about relying on luck for the number of enemies you run into during a game.

Restore Shield to Yourself or Other friendly Players

A Fortnite Chug Splash on a purple background

  • 50/150/300/500 Shield
  • 16K XP

This last one is one of the tiered Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. This one is based on healing, you’ll need to restore shield to yourself or teammates. This one shouldn’t be a problem to most players though, if you’re willing to be patient.

50 shield should be gotten out of the way In a single game. If you get to full shield, there you go. Same for 150 in a couple of games or if you take some damage. 300 and 500 might sound harder, but you probably don’t need to organize a chug splash train with your friends. Over 10 games you’re going to easily rack up 500 just by fairly normal gameplay. If you’re playing in a decent number of games, it shouldn’t take too long.

Mark Enemies

  • 5/15/30/50 Enemies

This is the last of this round of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. Like the one above, it isn’t going to take as long as it might initially seem. There’s an easy way to get through most of these tiers in a short amount of time.

Just like the other quest for marking enemies, this one is best done with the Falcon. It’s easiest to use this where you can knock out multiple enemies at once. Getting to fifty is pretty achievable, you have two options. Keep using the Falcon and wait until you’ve just naturally passed the threshold that you need for this one of the quests. That’s the first option.

The other is to, once again, head to Team Rumble. Find yourself a Falcon Scout. Then you can send it out in the later circles and caw as much as you want. Most team Rumble players are too busy working on something of their own to care that much about a Falcon. If it’s a later circle, most of the lobby is going to be there. A few scans should get you most of the way towards completing this quest. You might be able to get it done in a single round if your Falcon scans at the right times.

Week 6 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The next round of Fortnite Weekly Quests are here! While the game has a lot of weird stuff going on right now with all of its bugs, the new weekly challenges give players something to focus on. They’re a fun batch this around, nothing too impossible mixed in here. There are a few which might take you a while to grind out. Although, nothing is going to be too hard.

It’s going to take quite a few games to get through all of these quests. We’ll run through all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests for this week, and how to get each of them done the fastest. If you combine tasks, you can get most done in a few games providing you get the right RNG with rotation and augments.

Slide 30 Meters Continuously on Ice

  • 16K XP

This is the first possibly the easiest of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests this time around. All you have to do is to slide for 30 full meters on Ice. This one is simple provided that you head to the right bit of ice.

The best spot to get this one done is at the large ice sheet around the centre of the snow biome. This is more than enough space to slide for 30 meters, won’t take long at all. Sliding vertically down the ice sheet is more than enough.

Restore Health or Shields While Hiding in a Leaf Pile

  • 100 Health or Shield Restore Needed
  • 16K XP

This next one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests is also on the easier side. You just need to restore 100 points of either health or shield while you’re sat in a leaf pile. These are everywhere on the map right now so it’s not hard to find one. Although, the ice biome is one to avoid. You can find them easiest in the map areas with more brown autumn-style leaves. There are two ways you can get it done once you’re in the right area though.

The first is to use Fortnite Augments. There’s an Augment that lets you heal while you’re in a bush or leaf pile. This will heal health and the first 50 points of shield. It’s actually the quickest way to heal in the game right now. Alternatively, you can just grab some meds and head to a leaf pile. The Augment way is easier, just wait till you see that Augment and use it a couple of times. Although, if you have meds and see a lead pile it’s worth jumping in anyway.

Collect Gold Bars in Slappy Shores, Faulty Splits, or Breakwater Bay

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 50 Gold Bars Needed
  • 16K XP

This quest is one that shouldn’t be too hard, but you might have to land at a specific spot. Head to any of these three areas on the map and pick up gold bars. You can find these in chests, cash machines, by getting elims, and more. There are loads of ways.

The quickest way to get this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests done is to land at one of these spots first thing in a game. Faulty Splits might be the most convenient. There are plenty of cash registers here and even a safe in one of the buildings. Just open up a few of these and you’ll hit the threshold. It’s one of the best Fortnite Chapter 4 landing spots too, so you might be set up for a good game.

Tame Wolves in a Single Match

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 16K XP

Players could be having flashbacks to one of the Winterfest weeks with this one of the quests. You have to tame wolves in a single match. Only two of them are needed. All you need to do is wait till you see some wolves and press the tame button. It’s pretty simple.

Catch Fish

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP

Fish catching is a great way to stock up on some of the better meds the game has to offer. Although, players often neglect them. This is simple to remedy while you’re doing this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests.

Just head over to a large pond or the shore and grab a fishing rod. Then fish until you finish off this quest! This one is going to take a while since it’s five different stages. However, each gives you XP. Finishing all 6 is going to mean a big bonus of XP, great for finishing the Mid-Season Drops or the Battle Pass.

This one might seem easier in Team Rumble. If the circle is over a fishing spot you can pretty much just set up shop and fish on a loop. Although, it might take a few games before you manage to get a circle that sits right. Equally, you’ll probably get shot a lot when trying to fish.

Another option to get through it quickly is to ignore the storm and just fish. Fish will provide healing to even out the storm damage for longer than you’d think especially if you manage to find enough fishing spots. Players have won with this strat in the past, it’s probably good enough to get through all 5 tiers if you’re patient.

Claim Capture Points

Fortnite Chapter 4 Capture

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP

The last one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests is to claim capture points. This is another tiered quest. You’ve got to complete five different tiers of this quest. It could take a while.

To capture points in Fortnite Chapter 4, you need to head to the spot in a named POI marked with a circle and stand there until your flag raises. You can only do this once at each POI in a game. You probably aren’t going to get more than one capture point in a single game. This could be a problem if you want to do it fast. The better way to get it sorted is to get into the habit of claiming the capture point at your landing spot, and potentially other POIs if your rotation allows for it.

This isn’t a quest that’s any easier in Team Rumble. It’s just going to have to be ground away at gradually.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests – Week 5

Week 5 has kicked off with Winterfest fading into memory and the island getting back to the core Fortnite Chapter 4 gameplay! Challenges for this week are almost a return to normal too. You’re not hunting down excessive amounts of animals this time around. It’s fairly normal quest fare that pushes you to interact with some elements of the season that you might not have been focusing on.

These are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests for this round of the season.

Activate Augments in a Single Match

Fortnite Augments Guide

  • 4 Augment
  • 16K XP

This is a really simple quest! Just activate enough rounds of Augments in a single match. This one is just down to how long you can survive. Unless you’ve barely touched the game this Season, you probably already know that 4 is the full roster of Augments. You can complete this quest pretty easily by just waiting until the end of the match and managing to keep yourself alive for the entire time.

Deal Damage to Opponents with Bows

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Shockwave Bow

  • 200 Damage
  • 16K XP

This one is a bit harder, depending on which of the weapons you like to use. All you’ve got to do is get damage on players with bows. Sounds simple, but the bows are a bit of an acquired taste. This one is best accomplished by carrying a bow and taking advantage of it. Maybe even take it as an opportunity to try out one of the bows in the Fortnite Chapter 4 exotic weapons. That way you’re guaranteed a bow and potentially a weapon you’ve not gotten much this season.

Another strategy here is to use Team Rumble to get it done. Grab a bow and just gradually get the damage in here. You don’t have to worry about looting much in this mode and with respawn on, enemies aren’t massively defensive, so it should be pretty simple.

Sprint for 100 Meters Continuously Under the Effect of Slap

  • 16K XP

This is a fun one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. This one can be done pretty simply provided you find the right items, which aren’t exactly rare. You can take slap juice as you’re running so you can get the slap effect going and sprint straight ahead until you cross the 100 meters threshold. You can find slap juice in chillers or directly from the berries that sit on bushes. You can also use the barrels for this one, but they’re stationary so less convenient for this specific quest.

Land Direct Hits on Players with the Ex-Caliber Rifle

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weapons Tier List – Ex-Caliber

  • 10 Hits Needed
  • 16K XP

This next quest pushes players to make more use of the Ex-Caliber Rifle. You’ve got to land direct hits on players using this. This is the type of shot that deals double damage. A first bit of damage for hitting the player, and secondary damage when the shard explodes. Your shot has to hit a player and become lodged for this to work.

This quest isn’t too difficult if you can aim and are used to the Ex-Caliber Rifle. Although, it can cause problems for players if they’re not often using this type of weapon. It can take a little adjustment to consistently hit shots with the Ex-Caliber. The main strategy is to use the gun and take advantage of it as much as you can. You’ll need to adjust when aiming at a longer distance since this is a projectile weapon.

It shouldn’t take too long to rack this up at only 10 hits needed. Players can fire this off at a distance if they’re sure of their shot or even up close where you basically can’t miss if you’re confident. Like other combat quests, it might be easier to use Team Rumble if you’re struggling to get it finished this week.

Block Shots While Holding the Guardian Shield

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests - Guardian Shield

  • 5 Stage
  • 16K XP

This utilizes one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons that has only just been activated, the Guardian Shield. This is a new item that’s just been turned on with a slight update after Christmas. It’s been shown off in the Season’s initial launch trailer too though. This is a hefty shield that can actually allow you to block incoming fire. This might even introduce something like Overwatch’s Shield meta to Fortnite.

Blocking shots isn’t too difficult with the shield. You can likely burn through a lot of the quests by jumping into team rumble. It is plenty of fun to do this in the main game mode too though. Getting a Guardian Shield is really the hardest part of this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. They only spawn in the Oathbound Chests which you most often find the stone buildings around the map. These are the rarest feature though. If you loot around enough, you’re likely to find one. They’re pretty common right now.

Search Containers Under the Effects of Slap

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests - Gas Pumps

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP

This last quest returns to Chapter 4’s new med, the Slap juice. This time you have to search containers while the Slap effect is applied. There are some simple strategies to get this one of the Fortnite chapter 4 weekly quests done. Basically, just carry some slap-inducing items while looting, you’re going to be able to drink some before opening each chest. Slap isn’t too rare and it doesn’t take too many slots in your inventory, so it shouldn’t be a major problem to carry it around for the early game.

This is perhaps the easiest if you stumble on some slap bushes. These grow in groups of three and each yields quite a few slap berries. You can carry them and try to quickly eat them right before you open up containers. The standard items all count as containers here, but there’s also weird inclusion which players can use to get through the quests as quickly as possible.

For some reason, the gas pump counts also seem to count as a container. When under the slap effect, you can grab and put down the gas pump over and over This counts as a search each and every time you pick it up. By the time the slap effect wears off, you’ll be most of the way through the quest.

MORE FROM ESTNN
Hangzhou Spark vs. Seoul Dynasty Preview & Results – Overwatch League 2023 Week 3

This batch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests is going to expire on January 10th. Players don’t have too long to get through them, but enough are simple that you should be able to grab the XP you need to get to work on those midseason drop skins.

Fortnite Week 4 Quest

The Fourth week of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests are here! But, they’re a bit rough.

This might be one of the more irritating weeks so far. This is where only having a week to complete them is going to get annoying. You’ve got a single week to hunt down crazy amounts of wildlife. These quests are at least pushing players to utilize a part of the game which hasn’t been that important for a couple of chapters. It’s going to be a problem though, especially if you’re completing them quickly enough.

None of the quests are multiple stages this time around though, which speeds things up. At least a bit. You also don’t have to do all of the quests to hit the bonus rewards, so if there’s one specifically difficult one to hit then you can probably skip that one! There’s one that jumps out clearly though as being the biggest pain.

We’ll run through all of these Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests for week 4, and the best way to get them completed.

Tame or Hunt Wildlife

One of the chickens from the new Winterfest challenge in Fortnite Chapter 3 appears against a festive red background

  • 16K XP

This is one of the simplest of these quests here. You’ve just got to tame or hunt some animals. There’s no huge amount required either, this one should come pretty naturally. Just wait till you see an animal and hunt or tame it.

These quests are pretty minor. Although given that wildlife often feels like a spare part it’s nice to push players to use it again However, it would be better if Epic could come up with a reason to keep frogs and other wildlife around though.

Hunt a Frog from 5 Meters of Less

  • 16K XP

This one might be trickier. You’ve got to hunt a frog once you’ve gotten pretty close. Frogs tend to hop away when you get close to them, so you’ll have to act fast. You can find frogs around water. On-screen visual indicators for sound effects make them easier to find even if they’re quite a bit smaller. You’ll spot the frog face on there before you actually see the frog.

Once you spot a frog get close carefully. Go with crouching and move slowly until you’re within 5 meters. Then pull out a close-range weapon and quickly kill them. This one needs you to be deliberate, but it isn’t too hard if you set your mind to it.  If you don’t feel like sneaking you could even try just rushing them down.

Gain Health or Shield from Jumping on Sky Jellies

FortntieChapter4Jelly

  • 50 Health or Shield Needed
  • 16K XP

The sky jellies are a new feature for Fortnite Chapter 4 and one that might not get too much use from a lot of players. These are a huddle of jellyfish that you can jump into to get a bounce effect and a brief heal. You need to clock up 50 healing in all, so you’ll have to run through the jellies a few times.

The main challenge is going to be finding some of these since they’re fairly randomly occurring. The best thing to do is wait until you spot one at some point, and then utilise them until you hit this limit. It isn’t too difficult compared to other Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests for this week.

Hunt Wildlife in a Single Match

  • 10 Needed
  • 16K XP

This is kind of a difficult one, even if it seems simple on the surface. You need to hunt 10 bits of wildlife in a single match. This is harder than it sounds, largely just down to the spawns for wildlife in a game. You might not encounter 10 in every game you start up.

You’re best off searching out packs of wolves. These travel in threes, so a couple of packs of wolves can get you over halfway there. After that, it’s maybe pushing it to find another pack of wolves. However, sticking to water areas could reveal frogs and higher areas attract birds.

This one might take a few tries. Unfortunately, it’s not a quest that’s any easier in Team Rumble either. The circle gets too small to get enough spawns there. You’re basically just going to have to chance it here. If you get a game with enough animal spawns popping up, seize the opportunity to finish this one off. It’s by far the most annoying of this batch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests though.

Enter Leaf Piles, Bushes, or Consume Slap Berries

Fortnite Chapter 4 Berries

  • 10 Needed
  • 16K XP

This next quest is quite a bit easier. You just need to enter piles of leaves or bushes or eat slap berries 10 times. This is fairly simple. Slap Berries often grow in groups of three bushes. This makes it easy to get the majority of your numbers for this quest done in one batch. The next can just be the next pile of leaves that you see. Keep in mind that slap juice doesn’t count, it’s just the raw slap berries that will contribute to this quest.

Travel Distance Using Kinetic Ore

Fortnite Chapter 4 Kinetic Ore

  • 50
  • 16K XP

The Kinetic Ore is a new feature for Fortnite Chapter 4 that doesn’t get the most use. This quest is easily completable though. Next time you’re around shattered slabs, it’s easy to get done. This isn’t one of the best Fortnite Chapter 4 landing spots, but dropping here for a game isn’t too big of a sacrifice. Just land there, and you can get to travelling using Kinetic Ore.

To travel using the kinetic ore, you need to hit the ore in a direction with your harvesting tool. As you hit it, the block will charge up before firing off in that direction. Once it’s charging, jump on top of the block and then it’ll move forwards with you on it. It’s a fun way of rotating, and works similarly to stasis in Breath of the Wild.

Those are all of the quests this week! You better hope you encounter enough wildlife though because otherwise some of these are going to be tricky.

Week 3 Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The Week 3 quests continue to focus on the winter content in the game right now. A lot of these are going to have you focusing in on the snow biome and using its unique mechanics. There are a few different quests with plenty being achievable pretty quickly. These are the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests for this week of Season 1.

Decorate Traffic Lights for Winterfest

  • Decorate 3 Traffic Lights
  • 16K XP

This is the first of the quests and it is on the easier side. It’s essentially just heading to a spot on the map and hitting the interact button. Like with other quests, there’s a specific story to what you’re doing but this is all it actually means for gameplay. You just need to decorate three different traffic lights. These are fairly grouped up but you can find them pretty easily and complete this across a match or two.

Throw Holiday Presents at Different Named Locations

  • Three Different named Locations
  • 16K XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests is going to require a bit of grinding if you want to get through it. You’ll need to find holiday presents at named locations and then use them. The main problem comes in finding random presents. These aren’t the most common items in the loot pool, so you need to look around a bit.

The basic strategy here is to land at one of the named locations you’ve not checked off yet, and hope for a holiday present. There’s a way to speed it up though. You don’t have to find the holiday present at the same place you use it. You can find it at a POI that you’ve already used for this quest, then carry it to another POI. With OP items in the Chapter 4 loot pool like the shockwave Hammer, rotation isn’t going to take too long. This can speed things up quite a bit.

Check the Cosy Lodge Each Day to Possibly Find a Slice of Pizza

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests - Cosy Lodge

  • Three Pizza Slices
  • 16K XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests is probably the easiest here. Head to the Holiday Lodge in-game, and find the slice of pizza. This is located between the two characters on the sofa. Find it three times and you’ll be able to finish off your quest and get all of the XP. You get rewarded for each of the three too, so there’s a lot of XP coming from this one quest.

Pop Out of a Giant Snowball and Damage Players Within 10 Seconds

  • 250 Damage Total
  • 16K XP

This one is kind of a pain. You’re going to need to make a giant snowball, hide in it, and then pop out quickly enough to damage opponents. This one could take a while.

To make a giant snowball, you need to pick axe the ground in a snow area. This will slowly build a giant snowball. Then, you can hide in it with the interact button. It can move while you’re riding in it. The goal is to do all of this with your sights on an enemy, then just out and damage them. This one might take a while to do.

The best way to get it done is to stick to the ice areas. If you hear or see an opponent, you might have the time to build the snowball and hop in before they notice you. This could set you up to get some damage done within the window once you pop out.

This quest is easiest to do in Team Rumble since players are a lot less careful. It’s still going to take a bit of luck with the circle being over snow though.

Run Over Holiday Decorations with Vehicles

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP

This is another quest that’s on the simpler side for the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests. Just run over decorations. You’ll find them all over the entire map at the moment. This made a bit easier with a cattle catcher, but it’s not even really needed if you don’t want to use one.

Play Games

  • Different Stages
  • 16K XP for Each Stage

This is a fun one. You just need to play games. You’d think this would be completely simple, but Epic have done this quest in a bit of a weird way. There’s a much easier way to complete this than just playing games.

For some reason, Epic is measuring each game by gliding. Every time that you glide and land, it counts as a game. Presumably, it’s counting this for your first drop-in, but there are items around that let you do this more.

One strategy is to use a throwable launchpad and repeatedly re-enter it until you finish all of the stages. Another is to use one of the launchpads on the buildings around the snow biome. You can also use the updraft around this area, or the aerialist Fortnite Augment.

This is by far the easiest of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. You can just do this until you get all of them finished up.

Deal Damage to Opponents While Standing on the Snow or Ice

  • 5 Stages
  • 16k XP For Each Stage

This is another on the easier side of the quests but it is time-consuming to go all the way through. You’ve got to deal damage to players while standing on ice. Although, basically just fights in the snow biome count for his. You can hang around that area and just let your score tick up as you push enemies.

The top stages for this quest get pretty high. Even if you don’t get all the way to the top though, this is pretty achievable. In Team Rumble you can get it done very quickly with the right circles.

Week 2 Winterfest Quests – Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

It might just be the first real week of Season 4, but Fortnite Winterfest is here! This is touching everything in the game for a few weeks, even the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests. These Weekly quests are all themed around the new Winterfest content that came with Fortnite Chapter 4 V23.10 patch, the last big one before the winter break.

These Winterfest Fortnite Weekly quests aren’t going to be around forever. These are all of them and the best methods to complete the tricky ones.

Deal Damage with an SMG

  • Deal 50 Damage
  • 16K XP

This is a pretty basic one. Just rack up some damage with either of the SMGs in this Season’s loot pool. No massive strategy here.

Hide in a Giant Snowball at Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Winterfest

  • 3 Stages
  • 16K XP

This is a quest where you have to hide in a giant snowball at each of these locations. This can probably be done in one match if your rotation lines up perfectly. It isn’t always obvious at first how to ride in a snowball. If you’ve not done it yet, this is how you can get it sorted.

While they seem similar to the boulders you can send crashing down towards players, they actually occur differently. Players need to build the snowball themselves. To do this, head to a snowy area. Then hit the ground with your shovel to bring up snow, continue to do this until the snowball gets big enough to ride in. It doesn’t take very long, this is the hardest of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Perform this move at each of these places to finish off the quest. You only get the XP for doing all three though, not one for each area.

Check the Cozy Lodge Each Day to Find a Slice of Pizza

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Winterfest

  • 3 Stages and Rewards
  • 16K

This is a fairly simple quest, you can do it just from interacting with the menu. This is the Cozy Lodge segment of the main menu. It’s not the Christmas lodge or house that you can find in the game. You don’t need to drop at a specific site, or do anything in-game. Just pull this off on your menu screen.

Head to the Cozy Lodge in your menu screen. This is the new Snowflake item that you can find on the left of your menu. Open this up and head into the Lodge. This is where you’re going to find all of the characters and presents for Christmas.

You can find the pizza in this lodge. Every day, the contents in there are going to reset. You should then be able to grab the pizza each day as you’re opening your presents. This will give over 40K XP in total for the three days! One of the easiest ways to get through the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, and eventually the Battle Pass itself.

Eliminate Opponents Using the Snowball Launcher

Fortnite Winterfest 2022

  • 5 Eliminations Needed
  • 16K

This is a trickier quest, one that might be a bit of a pain. You need to eliminate opponents using a snowball launcher, 5 of them. This isn’t the strongest weapon. It might be a pain.

The best way to get this one done is in Team Rumble. Carry a snowball Launcher and fire off at opponents who look weakened. These kind of big team battles with lots of chaos should make it easier to hit the target here. You can pick up some quick kills with the wider effect of the snowballs. Trying it in Battle Royale is going to be harder. It’s still do-able, but it is easier in Team Rumble to finish this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Land Trick Points using a Dirt Bike

Fortnite Chapter 4 Dirt Bike

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K XP

This is a fairly basic one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Challenges, there’s five different stages too. You can get XP for completing each one of them, so you get quite a bit for competing it. All you need to do is perform tricks until you hit the point thresholds.

You can perform tricks by using the trick button. You can do this while riding, but you get the quickest points when you’re on a motorbike in the air. It is easiest to complete this by grabbing loads of points at once when you get a high reach in the air and more time to pull tricks. You can do this by heading off of a high point on the map like a cliff, or the iceberg, or one of the ramps dotted around.

The best way to complete this is just over time. Whenever you’re close to high ground, run your bike off an edge and perform tricks. It might take a while to hit the highest stages, but you’ll get rewarded along the way.

Deal DMR Damage to Opponents

  • 5 Stages
  • 16K

This is another quest with stages for you to complete. You’ll need to complete five different increments of grabbing DMR damage. This is cumulative over all matches. There’s no need to get it all in one game.

You can just use a DMR across matches and get through all five stages. There’s no trick to this one. The DMR is still one of the better Fortnite Chapter 4 weapons, so this shouldn’t be too hard.

Earn XP in Creator Mode Experience

  • 50K XP

This is the same quest that most get weekly. Just clock up enough XP in Creator Mode levels. You can use any deathrun or parkour map that awards XP quickly enough.

Those are all of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests for the Winterfest Launch week. There aren’t too many difficult ones here. It might take a few games of focused play to get through them, but there’s a decent bit of XP for the Battle Pass in this week.

Week 0 Weekly Quests

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

The opening week of quests isn’t counting as a full week, instead Epic seems to be calling it Week 0. However, they do still expire and work just like the other Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests. These are all of the Week 0 challenges:

Damage 50 Opponents While Augmented

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 16,000 XP

This is one of the simplest quests here. All you need to do is damage opponents after the Fortnite Augments have become active. This happens just with the first storm phase, so players only really need to survive off of spawn for damage to count here. It shouldn’t be too hard to rack up 50 instances of damage outside of spawn, even in a week! Although, bush campers might need to get a bit braver for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Damage Opponents with New or Unvaulted Weapons

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • Damage opponents 250 times
  • 16,000 XP

This quest is also fairly easy as long as you remember the weapons for Fortnite Chapter 3! If you’re not sure, these are all of the new and unvaulted weapons this season:

  • Red-Eye Assault Rifle
  • Maven Auto Shotgun
  • Thunder Shotgun
  • Ex-Caliber Rifle
  • Twin Mag SMG
  • Tactical Pistol
  • Shockwave Hammer
  • Assault Rifle
  • DMR
  • Machine SMG
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Primal Flame Bow
  • Primal Stink Bow
  • Shockwave Bow
  • Unstable Bow
  • Cluster Bow
  • Tactical Assault Rifle
  • Combat Shotgun

Grab some of these weapons and damage opponents a few separate times. While 250 is a lot, this is going to cover most interactions in the game. Pretty much the entire loot pool is new.

Open Chests in Hot Spots

  • 3 Chests Need to be Opened
  • 16,000 XP

Hot spots are the areas on the map where you’re going to find higher-tier loot faster than elsewhere. To do this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests, you just need to land in a hot spot in a game and find three chests. These are often hot drops, too though, so if you die off spawns you can do this over multiple games.

You can recognize the hot spots in the game by their yellow lettering. Their spots will have loot drones active. There’s typically a handful in each game. Focus on chests rather than the drones to get this quest done, though.

Visit Named Locations in a Single Match

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • Visit 6 Locations in One Match
  • 16,000 XP

This one takes a bit more planning, just since six named locations is a bit of a longer rotation than normal. You’ll need to visit all six in a single match, not across the week. To do this, the best idea is to make heavy use of rotation items and vehicles. You can also try to pick the six named locations that are closer to each other. There’s a fair cluster on the left side of the map that are all relatively close.

You can also make use of a dirt bike or shockwave hammer. Both of these have quests attached to them, so it’s a good way of killing two birds with one stone.  You’ll likely have to rely on a bit of luck with zones too. A game where you land on one side of the map and have to rotate to the other will make it easiest to knock off six different locations for this one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests.

Earn Experience in Creator Made Experiences

  • 50,000 XP needs to be earned
  • 16,000 XP

This is a bit of a repeat of the daily quests that were at the beginning of last season. You’ll need to gain 50,000 XP across creator-made levels. If you already have a parkour or death run that you use for the similar daily quest, then using that one is probably the quickest. Otherwise, this one is just a matter of putting the time in. Head into creative and find an XP-valid map that you can burn off pretty quickly.

Bounce with the Shockwave Hammer

Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests

  • 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 Increment Challenges
  • 16,000 XP

The shockwave hammer has a fun secondary function where you can bounce using the ADS button. This is one of the best rotation tools around at the moment. This quest, even the 200 level, can be done surprisingly quickly. It also seems that Hammers have separate cooldowns. If you’re carrying more than one, you can really get things done.

By using multiple shockwave hammers, you can switch between them once the cooldown kicks in, this should allow you to cycle between them at a speed where you’re never left waiting for one to get bounces back. It’s. little obnoxious to other players, but you can easily use this method to get to 200 bounces relatively quickly. This one could also be combined with visiting named locations.

Travel Distance with a Dirt Bike

  • 600, 1,200, 3000, 6,000, 12,000 Increment Challenges
  • 16,000 XP

This one of the Fortnite Chapter 4 weekly quests aims to get players on the latest form of transportation. There isn’t too much strategy involved in this one, just get on a bike and rack up the miles. After 12,000 you’ll have finished every tier of this quest and polished off the Fortnite Chapter 4 quests for this week.

This one is probably the most time intensive. It makes sense just to make sure you’re rotating with the dirt bike whenever possible. If you’re really struggling to get it done, you can always just head into Team Rumble and drive until you finish your quest, you’ll probably pass a milestone quest or two along the way too.

Do Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests Expire?

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests have changed. They now expire. If you don’t do them in that one week, you don’t get them. Epic may have done this to try and get payers to stick around throughout a Season.

In the past, you didn’t have to worry about weeklies. You could let them all pile up. Then, at the end of the season, just head into Team Rumble for a few hours and bash out an entire Season’s worth of XP. With the no system, that’s not on the table anymore. If you don’t complete this on time you don’t get the XP, they don’t seem to be coming back.

This is a shame as it pushes players to keep to yet another schedule on top of completing daily quests. However, since they’re not cumulative across the season. There aren’t the overarching larger rewards for completing 70+ quests, so missing a few won’t exactly mean you miss out on the Battle Pass. You’ll want to hit the milestones for completing a few of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly quests though.

The quests, for the most part, aren’t too hard to complete, though. If players can adapt to completing these throughout the week, they can still get the Fortnite Chapter 4 Battle Pass completed as soon as possible!

When Do New Weekly Quests Update?

The new weekly quests are due to appear in the game on Thursdays. Although you have a bit longer to actually complete the Week 0 quests, these last a week and a half, thanks to the early launch of the Chapter.

What Do You Get from the Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests?

The only reward for the weekly quests is XP. This is pretty important, though. Outside of daily quests, these weeklies are just about the only way that you can get through the Battle Pass. There are a lot of XP gates that you’re going to need to get through. Players have to really crunch to get those bonus skins.

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Weekly Quests are a great way to unlock all of the cosmetics. Now that there’s a timer on it, though, you’ll have to act fast if you want to get everything you can. Make sure you’re getting through these quests every week to get everything that you can out of the Battle Pass.
