The 10 Sweatiest Fortnite Skins

Fortnite skins are more than just what model you use in-game. They can be a signal of how long you’ve been playing the game, what type of player you are, and even that you’re a sweat who is about to start cranking out skyscrapers when hit with a single shot. The sweatiest Fortnite skins are those outfits. That ones that cause a casual player to try and rotate away, aware they’re about to fight with someone who thinks they’re warming up for the FNCS.

Between the skins that give a bit of a strategic advantage and those that are just memes of try-hard players, there are some clear picks for Fortnite sweaty skins. These are the top outfits in Fortnite that signal that you’re a sweat in chapter 4.

Top 10 Sweatiest Fortnite Skins

Renegade Raider

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Renegade Raiser

Renegade Raider is one of the oldest Fortnite skins and it’s become one of the rarest over time too. Since it rarely comes back to the shop, it’s a clear sign that you’re an OG Fortnite player.

Renegade Raider has become one of the sweatiest Fortnite skins as it lets players show off how long they’ve been playing the game.  It might not be the most visually exciting, but it shows you’ve honed your skills over all four Chapters.

Solid Gold Skins

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Gold Peely

The solid gold Fortnite skins were accessible as bonus rewards for Chapter 2’s first season. Rather than giving different patterns like current bonus reward skins, your Battle Pass skins would gradually turn gold as you level up. To get a fully gold Peely you’d have to level up by hundreds of levels over where the Battle Pass ended.

These skins aren’t the oldest, but they show that a player has grinded all the way to the end of a season’s progression. To get a fully gold one in most skins you would have to get a lot of XP. If you’re a sweaty player constantly getting kills then you’ll get your way up to these tiers a lot easier.

Ghoul Trooper

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins

Ghoul Trooper is one of the sweatiest Fortnite skins for a similar reason to Renegade Raider. This skin has been around forever. It’s one of the oldest outfits in the game, coming with the very first Halloween. Having this marks players out as long-time players. More than just being active the whole time, they’ve been committed enough to be buying skins the whole way through. The original version of the skin isn’t available, but a new variation has come back sometimes in the item store.

Aura

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Aura

Aura is another one of the sweatiest Fortnite skins which doesn’t seem to have much of a reason behind its popularity! It’s an item shop skin that’s come back quite a few times. It has a few extra styles now too. There isn’t any extra appeal that makes it stand out for sweats, but it’s definitely popular with them.

Siren

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Siren

Siren first got added to the game in Chapter 2 Season 2, and she’s had an extra style added in the time since. She’s a weirdly popular skin with sweats. This might be done to the simple colors and engaging design compared to some other skins. It doesn’t show off the length of time in the game or achievement, but it is a popular pick for sweats.

Spider-Gwen

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Spider Gwen

Spider-Gwen is a more recent skin, but for some reason, it’s become one of the sweatiest Fortnite skins. This one came with a Chapter 3 Battle Pass. The Spider-Man skins as a whole are very popular. Spider-Gwen is one of these, but it uses a female hitbox which gives some competitive advantages. It’s become one of the skins most easily recognisable as a sweat.

Elite Agent

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Elite Agent

Elite Agent was another early skin in Fortnite, coming only in Season Three of the game. It was one of the very first to feature separate styles for skins which made it a fun inclusion. Since the skin is largely one color and it has a fun design, it’s one of the sweatiest skins in Fortnite. One color skins are often valued for their camouflage effect.

Black Knight

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Black Knight

This is another of the sweatiest skins in Fortnite that got its title from being both an early skin, and high in the Battle Pass. You had to complete the entire pass to unlock it. Between this and how old it is, you’ll see a lot of players rocking the Black knight when dunking on an entire lobby. Something about this Knight just seems to attract the sweats!

Soccer Skins

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins - Soccer Skins

Prior to the Super Hero skins taking over, this was the sweat skin in Fortnite. The soccer skins aren’t the most visually interesting and it’s weird they got this reputation. However, across two Chapters of the game these were the sweatiest Fortnite skins.

The soccer skins typically use the female model of the character which has a slightly smaller hitbox. Outside of that detail, there’s nothing specifically appealing this to try hards. It doesn’t give an advantage; it doesn’t mark how long you’ve been playing. However, with streamers and content creators helping make the sweat soccer skin meme widely known, it’s become the one to wear if you want everyone in the lobby to know you’re sweating.

Block Color Super Hero Skins

Sweatiest Fortnite Skins -Superhero

This has basically become the worst offender on this list. It all started when Epic had a whole season built around Marvel with something cool in the item shop. You could design our own superhero! Some players made facsimiles of known but then not included characters like Spider-Man. However, the sweatier players didn’t see a chance to design their own hero. They saw a slight competitive advantage that they could grab.

These superhero skins had the option for players to use a solid block color. This skin is basically the opposite of the actual advantage of the design options you had. It’s a solid block color for a skin. Having this in all-white provides obnoxious camouflage in snow areas, perfect for the Chapter 4 map. All black often gives a lot of covers at night or in the shadows. Sweats took the fun avatar creator and tried to find something pay to win in Fortnite.

Beyond just being a skin with a slight advantage, this has become one of the sweatiest skins in Fortnite. Players using a solid block skin have gone out of their way to create a boring-looking but slightly adventurous skin. It’s the opposite of how normal Fortnite players go for skins. It’s become the clearest sign that you’re about to get sweated on. It’s a try-hard skin, and it’s one for a reason.
