Fan Favourite Maps Returning in Modern Warfare 2 Season One

Two fan-favorite maps are coming to Modern Warfare 2 in Season One.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is off to an incredible start, grossing over $1 billion in the first ten days since launch. This makes Modern Warfare 2 the best-performing Call of Duty game of all time, and this can also be seen in the fans' reactions and love for the new release. Season One of Modern Warfare 2 releases on November 16th, and with it comes new maps, modes, operators, blueprints and much more. However, with Modern Warfare 2’s maps proving to be lacklustre, fans will be pleased to know that two fan favorites are returning.

Shoot House and Shipment Return in Season One

Modern Warfare 2 Season One will see two fan-favorite maps reimagined and brought back to the limelight. The first is Shoot House. Shoot House was one of the best maps for camo grinders in Modern Warfare 2019, as it not only had long lines of sight but it was also perfect for close-quarters combat. Shoot House returns with a new look, this time situated in the south of Las Almas. Infinity Ward details it as “just as deadly as you remember it – a small, three-laned map conducive to all playstyles”. Shoot House arrives with Season One on November 16th.

Shipment is the second map to return in Season One of Modern Warfare 2. Shipment has been a fan favorite for many years and even made its way into some non-infinity ward-developed games such as World War 2. This time, Shipment is set on a cargo ship taking on water in the Atlantic Ocean, and provides the same close-quarters combat as usual.

Season One of Modern Warfare 2 arrives on November 16th, alongside the release of Warzone 2, DMZ and much more.
