sk0R Gets Paris Major 2023 Sticker Despite Tournament Absence

The rifler will not play for any Paris Major 2023 participating teams, but still landed a Paris Major sticker

Valve launched the much-anticipated Paris Major 2023 stickers yesterday, but one particular player sticker has raised quite a few eyebrows. Tengis “sk0R” Batyargala will not be playing at the next CSGO showpiece event, but Valve has still released a Paris Major sticker in his name.

sk0R played in the Asia RMR qualifiers with IHC Esports and inspired his team to one of the available qualification spots for the regional RMRs. However, the Mongolian rifler left IHC after the RMR qualifiers and Chinguun “hasteka” Bayarmaa took his place. sk0R had also impressed fans and analysts alike with some fantastic performances at Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 17.

Interestingly, hasteka will play at the upcoming Major, but Valve did not give him a sticker. The 24-year-old will take the stage with TheMongolz, but the Valve website is showing skOR on TheMongolz roster instead.

Valve made a similar blunder last year when they released an IEM Major 2022 sticker for BIG’s Josef “faveN” Baumann, who could not play in the tournament because of illness. The German organization brought in Elias “s1n” Stein as his stand-in, but s1n did not get an IEM Rio 2022 sticker.
