Valve Updates 9INE’s Paris Major Sticker Following Visibility Complaints

Valve came up with a new Paris Major 2023 sticker design for 9INE after the original one drew backlash for poor visibility

Valve has responded to the complaints 9INE themselves and their fans made online regarding their Paris Major 2023 team sticker by updating the sticker design. 

The original design was criticized for its missing background, which made it incredibly difficult to see. The CSGO social media community quickly pointed it out and 9INE also made it clear that they were not happy with the sticker design. 

9INE coach Piotr “nawrot” Nawrocki demanded a new logo with a white background. 

Valve changed the sticker design later on and the reaction has been mostly positive. 

This, however, is not a precedence-setting move from Valve. The developers have changed cosmetic item designs for Major competitions before following poor reception. Last year, they received severe backlash for their original line of IEM Rio 2022 stickers for poor readability. Valve quickly reacted with a new batch of stickers, which abated the criticism by a significant degree.
