Besides being the second Major, this tournament is crucial due to the fact it provinces more DPC points than the first one. Furthermore, it will be the first Dota 2 tournament to take place on the new patch 7.33. The latter includes many changes that transformed the game as we know it.

There are around 2 days until the start of the Berlin Major 2023, so let’s learn more about it and see what we can expect. Keep in mind that we at ESTNN will provide tips regarding some of the hottest matches you can watch.

However, an important thing to remember is that the Dota 2 patch 7.33, called The New Frontiers Update, dropped just a couple of days ago. Even though we already saw a few games on it, the best teams in the world are yet to figure out how to play and what to do in it. Consequently, we expect the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 matches to be even more interesting than the ones before that.

Besides the WEU powerhouses, we also have to keep an eye on teams such as Shopify Rebellion and PSG.LGD. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Chinese Team dominate the international Dota 2 scene, but we wouldn’t be surprised if that happens in Berlin. As for SR, it became clear that the North American powerhouse is among the few that can challenge the powerful WEU teams. We expect Arteezy’s team to stand out and even win the tournament.
