Top Heroes For The Safe Lane In 7.33 Patch

These are the top heroes you can choose to level up in the safe lane during your Dota 2 matches in the current 7.33 patch.

People are rejoicing over the new 7.33 patch for Dota 2 as it has expanded the map to help players revamp their strategies in gameplay. The New Frontiers map has included a gamut of fun features that you can discover with your friends after updating Dota 2 to 7.33. Players can activate Watchers across the new map to gain vision of their surroundings without having to plant Observer Wards.

There are 8 Watchers and 4 Outposts that can be used to gain an advantage in battle. People with a need to farm more gold in their games can take the safe lane to kill more creeps. You can fight over 12 new neutral creeps in the New Frontiers map to earn tons of gold between waves of enemy creeps in the safe lane.

Take a look at the top heroes you can play to earn additional gold in the safe lane.

Faceless Void

Faceless Void attacks enemies disabled by Chronosphere in the safe lane

Faceless Void is a carry hero with physical attacks that can clobber his enemies. He can initiate team fights by moving into position quickly without being detected by his opponents in battle. Faceless Void has a base health of 560 and a base mana of 255. He gains 3 Agility per level, providing Faceless Void plenty of attack speed to strike his foes in battles.

The safe lane lets Faceless Void level up without getting killed by enemy heroes during the early game. You can purchase a few Iron Branches and a Quelling Blade to be able to destroy more enemy creeps in the safe lane with Faceless Void. The carry hero can use Time Walk at level 1 to backtrack any damage dealt to him for the last 2 seconds. Time Walk has a cast range of 650, letting Faceless Void get out of dangerous situations with ease. You can use Time Walk once every 6 seconds by maxing it out. A level 4 Time Walk can be used to travel up to 800 units at once and requires 40 mana to be used per cast.

The New Frontiers map has neutral creep camps on either side of the Tier 1 enemy tower in the safe lane. Faceless Void can pick up fruits from the Lotus Pool that is near the safe lane to regain health and mana throughout the match. You can combine Lotuses into an item that can be used to replenish over 400 health and mana to Faceless Void.

He can use Time Dilation on enemy heroes in a radius of 775 to increase the cooldown of his enemies’ abilities by 11 seconds. You can level up Time Lock for Faceless Void to gain a 24% chance to deal 30 bonus damage to enemy units with his attacks. Enemy heroes hit by Time Lock get stunned for 0.5 seconds per strike. You can increase the bonus damage dealt using the passive ability, Time Lock, by 70 at level 20.

People can buy a Pavise for Faceless Void to gain up to 175 health, 2.5 mana regeneration, and 3 armor. Pavise can be bought for 1400 gold in the game. Faceless Void can activate Protect using Pavise to guard his allies for 300 damage. Protect lasts for 8 seconds in battle and has a cooldown of 18 seconds. The recently added item lets Faceless Void farm without having to return to his base for regeneration while farming in the safe lane.

His ulti, Chronosphere, can be used to disable multiple enemy heroes in a radius of 500. The biggest changes made to Chronosphere in the 7.33 patch includes freezing the cooldown of abilities and items used by enemy heroes trapped in his ulti. It has also extended the duration of Time Dilation in opponents caught inside a Chronosphere. Faceless Void can hit enemy heroes standing within a Chronosphere for 4.8 seconds. You can purchase items that increase the attack damage of Faceless Void to get more kills in Dota 2.

Battle Fury is an item that provides 60 attack damage to Faceless Void. The carry hero also gains an additional 7.5 health regeneration and 2.75 mana regeneration by purchasing a Battle Fury, letting him take a significant amount of damage from enemy heroes in the safe lane. The passive ability, Cleave, granted by Battle Fury allows Faceless Void to destroy tons of enemy creeps and neutral creeps for bonus gold. Battle Fury has a new recipe in the 7.33 patch that requires players to
buy a Cornucopia.

You can purchase a Mjollnir for Faceless Void to gain 70 attack speed and 25 attack damage. Mjollnir provides a 30% chance to release a chain of lightning that deals up to 180 damage to nearby enemy units. The item can help Faceless Void eliminate hundreds of neutral creeps and enemy creeps to farm bonus gold in the 7.33 patch. You can equip Mjollnir for Faceless Void to let him attack Tormentors to unlock Aghanim’s Shard for your teammates.

Clockwerk

Clockwerk destroys an enemy tower in the safe lane with his team

Clockwerk has become a Universal hero in the New Frontiers map. He gains 3.54 damage per level in Dota 2. The melee hero has a base health of 692 and a base mana pool of 291. You can play Clockwerk in a variety of ways to take your enemies by surprise. He can activate the Watchers in the safe lane to alert his allies of any incoming attacks from enemy heroes in the 7.33 patch.

You can cast several spells while playing Clockwerk to annihilate enemy creeps in the safe lane. Most of his abilities consume less than 100 mana to be cast during battles. These spells also have less than 20 seconds of cooldown, letting Clockwerk cast them multiple times in the safe lane to nuke enemy heroes.

Clockwerk can launch projectiles using Rocket Flare to deal 200 damage to enemy units and reveal hidden locations on the map. Enemies hit by a Rocket Flare have their movement speed slowed by 100% for 0.4 seconds in the 7.33 patch. Rocket Flare needs 50 mana and has a cooldown of 14 seconds. You can also shoot Rocket Flares to weaken enemy heroes in the safe lane with the Universal hero.

You can activate Power Cogs with Clockwerk to isolate enemy heroes in battles. Clockwerk can cast a magical barrier around him to absorb 200 damage from magical spells. Once an enemy hero is surrounded by Power Cogs, Clockwerk can use Battery Assault to stun his opponents and deal an additional 95 damage per second (DPS) for up to 10.5 seconds. Battery Assault has a cooldown of 18 seconds and requires 90 mana to be used in the game.

People can purchase a Phylactery for Clockwerk to increase the damage dealt from his spells. You can buy a Phylactery for 2400 gold in the game. Phylactery provides 200 health, 200 mana, and 7 attributes to Strength, Agility, and Intelligence of Clockwerk. You can deal a bonus magical damage of 125 using Phylactery with each spell you cast with the melee hero. Phylactery has a minor cooldown of 6 seconds and can be used to amplify the damage dealt using Clockwerk’s Rocket Flares and Battery Assault to annihilate enemy heroes in the safe lane.

His ulti, Hookshot, lets Clockwerk strike enemy heroes from a distance of 3000. Enemy heroes hit by a Hookshot are stunned for 1.6 seconds in the 7.33 patch and take up to 275 damage. Hookshot has a cooldown of 30 seconds and consumes 150 mana to be used.

Clockwerk can purchase a Blade Mail to gain up to 7 armor and 20 attack damage. You can activate a Blade Mail to return up to 85% of incoming damage from enemy heroes for 5.5 seconds. People can use Blade Mail inside Power Cogs to deal additional damage to enemies.

You can also buy a Crimson Guard to prevent Clockwerk from dying in the safe lane. Crimson Guard provides 250 health, 12 health regeneration, and 8 armor to Clockwerk. He can cast Guard using the item to block over 70 damage per hit from enemy heroes for 8 seconds.  Crimson Guard can be bought for 3600 gold
in the game.
