Dota 2: Bali Major Organizers Announce Venue

IO Esports and Epulze, the Bali Major 2023 organizers, have revealed the schedule and venue for the showpiece Dota 2 event


IO Esports and Epulze have finalized the dates and venue for the Bali Major 2023, which is set to become the first Dota 2 major in Indonesia and the last major competition before The International 12. The event have been scheduled to take place at the Ayana Resort in Bali, a luxurious 5-star resort, from the June 29th to July 9th. 

The tournament's official website promises it to be a unique mix of an exhilarating Dota 2 event and a relaxing vacation. Dota lovers can enjoy top-notch gaming action and a sublime tourist experience at the same time. 

Kenchi Yap, Chief Executive Officer of IO Esports highlighted the importance of the event to Indonesian Dota 2 fans and gave a glimpse of what to expect in the coastal Indonesian city. 

“The Bali Major is a massive event for all DOTA 2 fans, especially those residing in Indonesia. Our top priority is ensuring that everyone will have a great time, whether they are joining us here at AYANA Resort or watching the matches from the comfort of their homes. Epulze cofounder Pontus Lövgrenalso also talked about the significance of the upcoming Dota 2 major.

The Bali Major will mark the end of the ongoing DPC season and it will present teams to score the highest DPC points ahead of the International 12. 18 teams from all regions will take part in the $500,000 competition.
