Dota 2 Icon Loda Drops New Dota 2-Themed Song

Alliance co-founder Jonathan “Loda” Berg reminded fans of his signing talents as he released a new song based on his Dota 2 career

Brace yourselves, Dota 2 fans! Jonathan “Loda” Berg, the iconic co-founder and co-owner of Alliance, just dropped a mind-blowing new song named ‘Hero’ that pays tribute to his illustrious gaming career. As one of the most celebrated veterans and a player who lifted The International 2013 trophy, Loda's contribution to the Dota 2 community is nothing short of phenomenal.

It's safe to say that Loda's new song is a hit with the Dota 2 community! From the infectious beats to the stunning artwork, everything about this release is pure gold. Fans are particularly loving the visual depiction of heroes chasing down a creep, which perfectly captures the essence of the game.

What Is Loda’s New Song ‘Hero’ About?

Hero follows the journey of a Radiant creep as it wanders through the battlefield, providing a fresh perspective on the game we all know and love. The music video takes us on a wild ride through multiple seasons and terrains. It’s a whole new take on the game’s environment and the visuals are a feast for the eyes that's sure to leave you spellbound.

Dota 2 has come a long way since it first hit the scene, and Loda's latest release ‘Hero' seems to acknowledge that fact. By referencing the many map changes and cosmetics that have been added to the game over the years, this powerful song is a testament to the game's evolution.

The world of Dota 2 is full of battles and conflicts, and the Radiant creep in Loda's ‘Hero' music video experiences them all. Throughout its adventure, the creep encounters countless fights between the game's many heroes, making for an unforgettable visual experience.

The Radiant creep heads “into the unknown” to “cover the strong” – the game's heroes. It's a daring and dangerous journey, but the creep has no knowledge of its purpose.

It faces a brutal reality as it journeys across the battlefield of Dota 2. Witnessing its brethren being slain by the heroes it's meant to protect, the creep continues its one-dimensional journey. It eventually reaches the enemy bastion, the tower, but its journey ends in tragedy as it falls to its demise.

Is this the end of the story? Not quite! After meeting its tragic end, the creep sees a ray of light and follows it, only to find itself back in the barracks. But everything starts anew, and the creep continues to wander in an endless cycle, being brutalized over and over again. It's a reality that we, Dota players, must not overlook.

The final scene of Loda's ‘Hero' music video is truly touching as the Radiant creep stumbles upon a set of statues. These statues were of the heroes that Alliance used in their final match against Natus Vincere, ultimately resulting in their TI3 win. t's a beautiful tribute that adds a layer of sentimentality to the song.

Is This Loda’s First Song?

Hero is not Loda’s first musical project. Before his triumphant win at TI3, he released a demo of a song called “Soon 25”, which he never fully completed. It's possible that his dedication to winning TI3 took over, but who knows – maybe one day we'll get to hear the completed version of the song, just like we did with ‘Hero'. Either way, Loda has proven that he has some serious singing skills and his passion for music runs deep.
