The Academy (and with the pause of the LCL, the only) team for the Unicorns of Love organisation has done it yet again, and with a completely different roster of players: nobody stayed from the last lineup, but the team got to Quarterfinals nevertheless. Johannes “Fun K3y” Werner and his team managed to be the best in the German Prime League, as well as Group C of the Main Event – even beating LDLC OL twice, once in the Tiebreakers.

The main carry of this team is Lee “Mask” Sang-hun, one of the Korean Players for the team. While he has 2 Galio matches under his belt so far, he’s done almost 30% of the damage of his team. With the help of Lee “Peach” Min-gyu, the jungler of UOLSE, they make a deadly pair, which their opponents must look out for.

The Spanish Champions don’t look as hot as their first opponent in the Playoffs. Movistar Riders finished second in Group B behind Macko Esports with a 3-3 scoreline, while Los Heretics – the team who they beat 3-0 in the LVP SuperLiga Spring Finals – managed to close the Group Stage 4-2. David “Supa” Martínez García and co. didn’t start the first half of the EM Main Event poorly, as they only lost to FUT Esports and gave Macko their only defeat, but they lost to Aegis and the Italians the second time around.

Movistar Riders have a real Swiss Army knife in the toplane with Pedro “Marky” José Serrano Berzosa, who didn’t play a single Champion twice during the Group Stage – which sometimes backfired. Supa is the main carry, while Ismail “Isma” Boualem and Bartlomiej “Fresskowy” Przewoznik tries to facilitate him. Hopefully, it works out against UOLSE.
