G2 Esports Teams Up With DC Comics For Prestige Jerseys

Esports organizations partnering with popular brands and companies is nothing new. Nevertheless, it's always exciting to hear about new collaborations.

In a recent blog post, G2 Esports announced they are partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and DC Comics. Specifically, this partnership will bring to life limited edition Prestige Jerseys that center around major tournaments played by one of G2's many formidable Esports teams.

The first Prestige Jersey is for G2's League of Legends squad and features DC's iconic Batman villain, The Joker. Along with several images of The Joker scattered across the jersey, there are plenty of hahas fitting of the villain's iconic maniacal laughter he is known for.Also emblazoned on the jersey is a single star commemorating G2's MSI victory in 2019 over Team Liquid. The team will be debuting the new jersey at MSI 2023 in May.

Fans can purchase the Prestige Jersey on G2's website right now. Sizes start at 2XS and go up to 3XL. Shipping will begin on May 22. This Joker Prestige Jersey will be the first but not the last. While G2 hasn't revealed details on the second jersey, they have confirmed that it will center around the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Paris Major.

The Paris Major will be the final CS:GO Major.

The following Major will be in March 2024 and the first in Counter-Strike 2.

BLAST Paris will be the final CS:GO Major, with CS2 taking over the reins of Counter-Strike Esports, with the first CS2 Major taking place in March 2024. With this being the last hurrah of CS:GO Esports, this upcoming Prestige Jersey will be even more special.
