Dragonflight 10.1 Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible RWF Recap

We're back with our RWF Recap for the Dragon Season 2 Race to World First to kickstart 2023, as Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible kicks off Dragonflight. Here we'll update our RWF Recap daily.

As with all new raids, we get to see the best guilds in the world flex their muscles. It can be hard to track with action across the globe, staggered releases, and different tactics. Here, we'll recap the main moments from the top 3 guilds and their progress. This article will update as often as possible, though it is a one-person operation based in Europe.

Current RWF Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible Mythic Progress

Below is the current progress on all Vault bosses. The order is displayed from 1st to 3rd (left to right) with the current best progress. Links will be included to kill videos where possible. You can check out our RWF Stream article for links to catch the action, with new guilds added as the race starts. Note on boss order below, after Eranog guilds can choose either Primal Council or Terros. Depending on what order guilds choose will depend on who they encounter next.

Each day of the below recaps starts when NA begins each day, and ends when EU ends that same day. This recap is being solo published by someone in the EU, so updates will be less frequent during the late evening in NA.

Article updates at the top (boss progression) will happen ASAP, and most content in the “Day X recaps” will be brief, primarily Tweets and brief TLDR info.

Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible RWF Recap – last boss updates

It looks like we might be entering the final day of the RWF. 3 guilds have made it to sub 50% and with Echo and Method now pushing it looks like it has to die today. Can the EU guilds take it before Liquid get on, or will we see the EU guilds burn the midnight oil to stop Liquid claiming a title.

Over in NA, Liquid have had a number of sub 1% wipes on Rashok, as they now move into the lead in the RWF. BDG are also making great progress, claiming world second on Experiments, just minutes after FatSharkYes claimed the world first.

Over in EU, guilds are just starting day 3 now, though as mentioned above, FatSharkYes are leading the pack having got a world first kill under their belts. For now, Echo and Method are gearing up in M+ before likely heading into Mythic later today.

Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible Day 2 RWF Recap

EU

All the major EU guilds started bright and early at 9am once again, as they head back into the raid for another day of splits. Based on Liquid's progress in in the first two days, we'd expect day 2 to be the final full day of splits.

NA

As Liquid ended day 2, Max confirmed on his Twitch that Liquid were done with Splits that required external help (for the most part). With around 10 more Heroic Sarkareth splits to go, Liquid should head into Mythic on Day 3.

Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible Day 1 RWF Recap

EU

EU started the day the same way those in NA did. By heading into normal to get lots of splits done and get key items onto characters. It wasn't a great start for EU; however, as Echo noted, the servers were still not live at 7 am server time in EU.

NA

As for what the “Top” guilds were up to, it was splits, of course. Liquid ended day one having got in a healthy number of splits before heading into Mythic at some point this week. BDG ended the day in a similar fashion to Liquid, ending the day having got in lots of splits.

The NA day ended with Nerd Crew picking up World first on Amalgamation and Zaqali.

True to their name, The Early Shift got the day off to an explosive start claiming the World First kill onto Kazzara. They'd follow that up with some big early pulls on Amalgamation.
