Morphling – Use Morph to Cast More Spells

Morphling stuns enemies after casting Morph on enemy heroes

Morphling is an excellent carry hero in Dota 2. You can cast a wide range of spells with Morphling, making him unpredictable in battles. His abilities can help players push lanes and punish enemy heroes throughout the game to level up faster.

He has an impressive set of attributes at the start of the game. Morphling has a base Agility of 24 and gains up to 3.9 Agility per level. He has a maximum range of 350 on his physical attacks, letting him fight enemies from a distance in lanes to farm more gold. You can purchase a Dragon Lance for Morphling to increase his attack range by 150. He will also gain 15 Agility and 12 Strength after buying a Dragon Lance. The increased Strength and Agility provided by Dragon Lance will help Morphling survive longer during team fights.

You can head to the mid lane with Morphling to unlock his ulti, Morph, at level 6. Morphling can use Morph to change form for up to 20 seconds. Players can cast Morph on enemy heroes to use the abilities of his enemies in battles. Morph has a cast range of 1000, allowing the carry hero to steal his enemies abilities without being noticed by his opponents.

His ulti has a cooldown of 60 seconds and consumes 50 mana. You can freely change form while using Morph to regain your abilities between team fights. Morph can become a powerful nuker who can fight enemies and frustrate his foes before finishing them off. You’ll need to carefully choose the enemy hero to Morph into in the game.

Sacred Arrows and Waveform can drive enemies to their death

Morpling casts Morph on Mirana

Players use Morph on other Agility heroes like Mirana and Vengeful Spirit to be able to stun enemy heroes for longer durations. Morphling will gain all abilities of the targeted enemy hero, except for their ulti by using Morph. You can cast Morph on Mirana to gain Sacred Arrow. Morphling can release a Sacred Arrow to deal 330 damage to enemies and stun them for up to 5 seconds at a maximum distance of 3000.

Once the enemy unit is stunned by Sacred Arrow, Morphling can toggle back to his original form to cast Waveform on stunned enemies to deal 300 damage to them. You can immediately use Morph to blast enemy heroes with Starstorm to deal 300 damage. Morphling can quickly toggle Morph to hit enemy heroes with Adaptive Strike to deal the final blow to his opponents.

Waveform has a cast range of 1000, providing plenty of distance to help Morphling reach enemy heroes on time to win over them in team fights. Morphling requires 130 mana to cast Waveform and has a cooldown of 12 seconds on the ability. You can gain an additional 250 range on Waveform at level 10.

Make sure you have loads of mana to be able to toggle Morph and use other abilities while playing Morphling. You can buy items like Perseverance to increase the mana regeneration rate of Morphling by 2.25 and his health regeneration rate by 6.5 per second. Perseverance costs 1650 gold in the game. You can upgrade Perseverance to Linken’s Sphere for Morphling to gain an additional 16 attributes to his Agility, Strength, and Intelligence. Linken’s Sphere costs 4600 gold. Morphling can block most targeted spells using Linken’s Sphere to prevent taking damage in battles. Players can use Leap after using Morph on Mirana to help Morphling escape out of danger in Dota 2.

People with low health can use Attribute Shift to convert their Agility attributes to Strength attributes to increase the overall health of Morphling. You can purchase an Ethereal Blade to gain 25 Intelligence, 5 Agility, and 5 Strength for the Agility hero. Morphling can cast Ether Blast using Ethereal Blade on a target unit to deal bonus damage to them using Adaptive Strike. Enemy units affected by Ether Blast will have their magic resistance reduced by 40% for 4 seconds. Morphling can cast up to 2.5x his Agility to enemy units using Adaptive Strike in Dota 2 matches. Adaptive Strike has a cooldown of 10 seconds and consumes 70 mana per cast. Players can cast Starstorm after enemy units are slowed by Ethereal Blade to deal devastating amounts of damage to their opponents in team fights.

Stun Enemies with Magic Missiles

Morphling stuns enemies using Magic Missile after using Morph on Vengeful Spirit

Morphling can counter a number of different heroes in the online game. An effective strategy to carry out against support heroes is using Morph on them at the beginning of a fight. You can cast Morph on Vengeful Spirit to gain Magic Missile and Wave of Terror.

Morph lasts for 20 seconds, letting you use multiple Magic Missiles on enemy heroes before your ulti elapses. Magic Missile deals 360 damage to enemy units and stuns them for 1.7 seconds. It has a cooldown of 9 seconds and requires 130 mana to be used per cast. Morphling can release a Wave of Terror to reduce the armor of enemies by 6 for 8 seconds. Wave of Terror will help Morphling deal plenty of damage to his opponents using Magic Missile and Waveform. You can constantly toggle between your Morph states to nuke enemies with Magic Missiles in battles.

You can buy items like Heart of Tarrasque to increase the health of Morphling when facing Vengeful Spirit in the enemy team. Heart of Tarrasque provides 250 health, 45 Strength, and 1.6% of his maximum health as regeneration to Morphling. The item can be bought for 5000 gold in the game. You can toggle Attribute Shift to convert your Strength to Agility for bonus attack damage against Vengeful Spirit. People can stun Vengeful Spirit to deal more damage to her in battles while playing Morphling.

Players can gain up to 30% of their attack damage as Lifesteal by purchasing Satanic for the Agility hero. Satanic provides 38 attack damage and 25 Strength to Morphling. You can enable Unholy Rage to increase the Lifesteal of Morphling from 30% to 175% for 6 seconds using Satanic. The increased Agility gained from Attribute Shift lets players regain a large portion of their health while fighting enemies like Vengeful Spirit and Mirana in Dota 2. You can also buy items like Eye of Skadi and Manta Style to destroy enemy heroes with Morphling. Many people tend to miss using the chance to cast other abilities using Morph. You can cast a combination of spells with Morph to make Morphling a Godlike hero in your games.
