Dota 2: The Hero Combos To Use in 7.32e To Gain MMR

Looking to gain some MMR in patch 7.32e? Here's the best hero combos to use!

The latest Dota 2 patch 7.32e arrived several days ago alongside the Dead Reckoning Update. Aside from the new hero Muerta, we also got several heroes nerfs and buffs. We’ve already shown you some of the best and worst heroes in the current meta, so make sure to check them before you start playing.

Of course, many people who play Dota 2 want to do everything they can to gain MMR. Some people try to abuse the best heroes in the game, but not everyone knows how to play them. Fortunately, there are other ways that can help you reach your desired MMR, and that’s by pickling some of the best combos.

There are different Dota 2 patch 7.32e combos, but some are definitely much stronger than others. We can see some of them in action in the ongoing Tour 2 of the 2023 DPC, so let’s go through them.

Lich and Ursa

Ursa slams the ground with Earthshock

A couple of heroes can work well together, regardless of the patch, and Lich and Ursa are among them. This is one of the Dota 2 best hero combos because it allows Ursa players to be highly aggressive and kill pretty much everything early on.

One of the big reasons why this combo is popular right now is because of Lich. The hero received substantial buffs in 7.32e, making it one of the more robust supports. Needless to say, pro and PUB players alike started picking him more often and pairing him with different heroes. Even though we can often see him alongside Slark, Ursa is usually the better option for this combo.

Lich's ability to slow his enemies allows Ursa to get free Fury Swipes stacks. What’s more,  the hero also has slow, and Lich’s Shield allows him to slow his targets even more. As a result, every offlaner that’s out of position can die in just a couple of seconds.

Sure, the Lich and Ursa Dota 2 patch 7.32e combo might not be that good in the late game, but you can dominate everything early on. In other words, this is one of the fastest ways of winning a game.

Rubick and Monkey King

The Dota 2 hero Rubick holds its green and blue staff in a cave, pointing it towards the ground.

Those wondering about Dota 2 how many hero combinations there are will often come across the Rubick and MK setup. In case you’ve missed out on the previous meta, Rubick was the hottest hero in the game. He was the go-to hero at The Lima Major 2023 and every DPC region.

Even though we expected to see some pretty big nerfs, this wasn’t the case, which is why Rubick continued to be among the most popular heroes. He can work in various setups, but if we look at the Tour 2 matches, we can see that the hero is often used alongside Monkey King.

MK is one of those Dota 2 cores that can shine in every match. We’ve seen it repeatedly, and 7.32e is not an exception. One of the reasons why he’s so good with Rubick is because of their laning stage dominance. This is one of the Dota 2 hero combos that can win any lane, especially against weak offlaners. Needless to say, pro players see it as a “safe pick.

When used together, MK and Rubick have enough damage and CC to bring down everyone. This can allow MK to have a pretty solid start to the game and use the momentum to snowball out of control.

Magnus and Anti-Mage

Anti-Mage is one of those heroes that got revived after the arrival of the Dota 2 patch 7.32e. He wasn’t popular at all in the previous meta, and people often called him the worst hero in the game. However, things are different, which explains why we see Anti-Mage a lot more often.

Considering that AM is a carry that needs a lot of farms, it shouldn’t come as a surprise he needs the space to do that. Of course, he also needs the right tools, which is where Magnus comes to play. He is among the best options to have alongside any melee carry, and AM is not an exception. Together, these two heroes can be an unstoppable force as long as Magnus can land his RPs.

Besides giving AM Empower, Magnus’s stun allows AM to do free damage and use his ult to finish off a target. Usually, this is more than enough to win any late-game matchup.

If we look at some of the Dota 2 patch 7.32e combos that pro players use, we can often find these two together. AM will continue to have a popular role in the meta, so we can’t wait to see what the meta will look like a few weeks from now.

IO and Witch Doctor

This is definitely not the Dota 2 patch 7.32e combo you expected to find. However, after watching some of the best players in PUBs, we’ve seen these two appear much more often than usual. However, we haven’t seen the combo in a professional game yet, so keep that in mind.

The reason why these 2 heroes work well together is because of their ability to dominate in the early game. If you’re looking for Dota 2 MMR tips, you will see that these two heroes offer an insane amount of healing even early on. Consequently, they can use it to pressure the enemy’s cores.

To make use of the combo, Witch Doctor has to max his Voodoo Restoration because it heals and deals damage. Combined with OP, this hero becomes incredibly hard to deal with, making him ideal for pub games.

There are many other possible combos to choose from that can work well in the meta. For example, Magnus is a hero that you can use with all popular melee carries right now, such as Ember and Even Spectre. Speaking of the devil, the latter is good with the likes of Nature’s Prophet and Zeus because they have global ultimates.
