The star player for the former OpTic Gaming roster and one of the best duelists in Valorant has joined Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang’s team. This was announced in a Pros vs Noobs stream, where yay accompanied Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik against five popular streamers.

DSG hinted towards yay’s signing before through an April Fools’ joke, and even then, many still speculated the former C9 player to join the newly acquired roster of Disguised Toast.

Finally, an announcement video was put out by Disguised, where Disguised Toast finally broke the news alongside tarik and yay himself.

yay will be able to fill the spot of former DSG member Drake “Exalt” Branly on the upcoming Split 2 event of the North American Challengers League. Disguised finished 8th in Split 1 and 7th in the Mid-Season Face-Off, and with the new addition of a player with such caliber, we might see a totally new look for the team.

Last month, Cloud9 announced the departure of yay after being with the roster for only five months. During this time, the team only played in LOCK//IN and Red Bull Home Ground events. This news came as a shock for the Valorant world, as yay is considered to be one of the best players last year with incredible performances in international as well as North American events.
