Juked Esports Startup Launches New Beta Testing

Hot-to-trot esports startup, Juked, has just launched their first open-world beta testing for streaming live video game content.

The Californian esports company just began last February and rumor is their team are fervent on delivering continued updates for future fans and subscribers in 2020. On their official page, Juked is attempting “to create a better way to discover, watch, and engage with the best events and content from across the global esports community.”

Juked is currently run by Ben Goldhaber and Chris Chan, the CEO & COO respectively. Goldhaber, who formerly worked at Twitch, served as Director of Content Marketing and Senior Manager of Partnerships while Chan came from a software engineer background, cofounding HearthSim and his own ChanmanV TV.

Goldhaber discussed the launch in a release: “Esports has grown exponentially over the last decade, but there is still too much friction between becoming a fan of a game, player, or team, and being able to actually follow that esport, We built Juked as a single comprehensive destination with the goal of lowering the barrier to entry to enjoying esports. Our vision is to help every single esports community grow, since it will be a win-win for fans, developers, publishers, and the players who are invested in seeing their scene succeed.”

Here are the titles Juked has officially slated for launch over the next year: League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Overwatch, Rocket League, Smash Bros. Ultimate & Melee, StarCraft II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Hearthstone, Fortnite, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat 11, World of Warcraft, Rainbow Six Siege, StarCraft: Brood War, FIFA, Apex Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Magic: The Gathering, and Quake Champions.

“We are excited to launch the open beta to the world today” Chan said in a press statement. “We look forward to Juked helping fans follow the esports they love more easily and to enjoy new esports content they may not have watched otherwise.”

While there are several ways to watch esports nowadays, Juked is certainly trying to make a name for themselves in the upcoming year. Keep your eyes peeled for more content updates!
