Paul “Redeye” Chaloner Reveals His New Esports Book

Esports host, commentator and all-round esports man Paul “Redeye” Chaloner has revealed his latest project is an esports book title “This is Esports (And How to Spell It)”.

The book, subtitled “An Insider’s Guide to the World of Pro Gaming”, will be published by Bloomsbury UK via its Bloomsbury Sports publishing house. No date is available for the book as yet, however, it will become available for pre-order soon.

Chaloner is one of the ‘OGs’ when it comes to esports. And while we don’t want to make him feel old, he’s one of the most storied and long-standing figures in the industry. He has a large number of games in his esports cap. They include Quake, CS:GO, StarCraft 2, Dota 2 and FIFA to name a few.

If you like the sound of Chaloner’s new book, he’s written one before. “Talking Esports” is a free to read book that covers aspects of esports broadcasting. Its meant for those looking to get into the industry or those looking to improve. The book is available here.

In 2016 Chaloner also became Managing Director of Code Red Esports. Code Red is a ‘full-service esports agency’ which represents some of the most recognizable talents in the industry.
