Amuka Esports Acquires Incendium Gaming, Assert Itself as a Major Player in the Fighting Game Industry

Amuka Esports acquires Incendium Gaming, a leading tournament organizer for fighting games.

Amuka Esports is a Canadian esports company creating localized esports hubs for casual gamers in cities across North America. Each hub consists of a game venue, tournament organizer, content team, merchandise brands and incubator.

Founded in 2019, Amuka Esports is a quickly growing company. In late 2019, Amuka Esports acquired the Waves EGaming company, the first dedicated esports facility in Canada. As we are now three months into 2020, Amuka Esports announces it has fully acquired Incendium Gaming, a leading tournament organizer for fighting games.

“The Incendium team exudes a passion and love for fighting games that is infectious and their events create an energy that I’ve never seen before,” said Ben Feferman, CEO of Amuka Esports. “We are so excited to be working with Vince, Drew and Roshawn in creating more world-class events”

Founded by fighting games fans, Incendium has hosted over 20 events since its creation in 2019. The company also produces tournaments for larger events like Get On My Level Canadian Fighting Game Championships and World Gaming. Their tournaments feature many of the top fighting games such as Tekken 7, Street Fighter and Dragon Ball FighterZ.

With this acquisition, Amuka Esports opens its arms to fighting game enthusiasts. As the company keeps growing, more and more esports hubs should be opening in North America in the upcoming months.
