Team Nigma Enters Into Long Term Partnership With Etihad

Team Nigma has pulled one of the best plays in their books.
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, announced their long-term partnership with Dota 2 team Nigma.

Team Nigma are the first esports team to partner with a major airline company. Etihad will be of great help in travelling across the globe for the LAN events. The partnership is a wise decision considering Team Nigma’s recent relocation to Abu Dhabi, which is also the base for Etihad Airlines.

Said Mohamed Morad, Co-Founder of Team Nigma. “Etihad Airways will provide us, are going to help our players and staff reach new levels.”
Christoph Timm, Co-Founder of Team Nigma, was grateful that Etihad committed to a long-term partnership with the esports organization. He also explained how the airlines company aims to develop and nurture the upcoming talent in the region. Etihad believes to develop Abu Dhabi’s esports culture and infrastructure.

Team Nigma are presently competing in the Dota Pro Circuit EU Upper Division; and it restricted most of their traveling to the European regions. However, the team has made efforts to expand its presence in other parts of the world, especially the Middle East. The inclination of Nigma towards supporting the Middle East regions is not a surprise as both Amer “Miracle-“Al-Barkawi and Maroun “GH” Merhej are from Jordan and Lebanon, respectively. It is a great opportunity for both Team Nigma and Etihad to explore new ventures and achieve their goals.
