Complexity Gaming Welcomes Cloakzy as a Part Owner & Content Creator

Popular content creator Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore has found a new home, as Complexity Gaming Welcomes Cloakzy.

Today, the Fortnite legend and current Twitch streamer announced his signing with Texas-based esports organization Complexity Gaming. He joins frequent collaborator and the brand's co-owner Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar as a creator and part-owner under the Complexity banner. 

Cloakzy Joins Complexity

A former FaZe Clan member—Cloakzy parted ways with the organization following a two-year contract dispute. He initially signed with FaZe as a Fortnite player before issues ensued. He left the organization in March 2021 and has remained a free agent. 

Complexity is building an army—words taken directly from TimTheTatman in Cloakzy's welcome video. The short film included other organizational members such as The Baka Bros and Biffle. It all culminated with Cloakzy committing to Complexity. He now maintains the role of content creator and part-owner, mirroring TimTheTatman's position.

Cloakzy & Jason Lake Comment on the Signing

Cloakzy commented on his decision to join the Texas-based brand in an official press release: 

“Joining Complexity and GameSquare unlocks new opportunities for me to push the limits of what's possible in content creation and build a deeper connection to my audience,” said Cloakzy. “I'm looking forward to working with TimTheTatman and Complexity's diverse roster of talent in an environment that encourages creativity and supports professional development.”

Complexity CEO Jason Lake commented on the signing:

“Cloakzy is a unique and talented gaming personality – he is one of a small handful of streamers with a tenured competitive background and the charisma to reach millions with his engaging content,” he said. “The addition of Cloakzy to our team not only expands Complexity's global reach and influence but also grows our content offering for Complexity fans.”

Furthermore, the statement defined what fans can expect from the 27-year-old personality moving forward. “Cloakzy will host events, produce branded content, create limited-edition merchandise, and collaborate on unique experiences with Complexity Stars athletes and Complexity's roster of competitive players and streamers.” 

What to Expect from Cloakzy

Cloakzy follows friend and fellow streamer TimTheTatman, who joined Complexity last year. The YouTube streamer launched a Dallas Cowboys-themed merchandise line and hosted an in-person event to greet fans. 

The organization will take a similar approach with Cloakzy, who brings a massive following to the Complexity brand. The press release indicates that Cloakzy plans to attend the upcoming TimTheTatman's Tailgate event in Texas this summer, with potentially a Cloakzy-themed in-person gathering to follow.

For now, we can expect to see Cloakzy streaming on Twitch as usual. He's built quite the following; 2.8 million Twitch followers, 1.6 million Twitter followers and 1.26 million YouTube subscribers. He often streams alongside TimTheTatman and FaZe Clan member Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff.
