100 Thieves CEO Nadeshot Interested In A Halo Infinite Team

Nadeshot expresses interest in 100 Thieves joining the Halo Championship Series.
Game developer 343 Industries released Halo Infinite to the masses last week to an overwhelmingly positive response. Many players point to how smooth Halo Infinite plays and a ranked playlist included at launch as the standout positives. Naturally, the game would be esports ready from day one.
The Halo Championship Series (HCS) consciously plotted the Infinite season, partnering with reputable esports organizations such as Cloud9 and FaZe Clan, announcing the first offline tournament in Raleigh and laying out a comprehensive roadmap.
HCS did their research and prepared for Halo's esports revival. Following this past weekend's stellar viewership numbers an insane ten-game showdown between Cloud9 and OpTic, the world, including 100 Thieves' CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, has expressed interest in competitive Halo.

A little late to the game—Nadeshot went live on stream today, discussing his interest in building a Halo team. The 100 Thieves co-owner conversed with his chat in hopes of learning about any standout free agents that have not yet signed with a reputable organization.
Nadeshot admitted that most of the top players are likely locked into contracts for the time being. However, Halo Infinite is in its infancy, and the possibilities are endless. The former Call of Duty professional's very interest in Halo Infinite speaks volumes for what transpired this past weekend, as OpTic Gaming bested Cloud9 in an exceptional series.
Formal and/or Flamesword to 100 Thieves?
Retired Call of Duty player and Nadeshot's former teammate — Matthew “Formal” Piper — is one option without question. He was briefly linked to FaZe Clan and has recently been practicing with Spacestation Gaming. Formal could certainly accept a position as 100T Halo's point man. It would allow him to build his roster and compete in an esports title he dominated before switching to Call of Duty.
A second option for 100 Thieves could be Michael “Flamesword” Chaves. He's another of Nadeshot's OpTic Gaming mates and a good friend by all accounts. Flamesword is a veteran in the competitive Halo scene, having competed in Halo 3 before launching into the Master Chief Collection under OpTic. He currently competes under the Status Quo banner alongside Chris “Blaze” Chapon, Oguz “Burton” Ustuntas and Chris “Perzecute”.
We'll have to see what transpires moving forward as Nadeshot and 100 Thieves look to expand into Halo Infinite. It would be fitting to see the 2021 Esports Organization of the Year enter and compete against other industry titans in a game that has people talking.
