Dota 2: 6 Teams To Watch At Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC

Let’s learn more about the 5 teams we should watch at Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC.

The end of the Berin Major 2023 meant that Tour 2 of the 2023 DPC is officially over, and it is time to focus on Tour 3. Unsurprisingly, the latter will be the most important one yet because it will provide the most DPC points. What’s more, we will also see the Bali Major, which will be the last one prior to The International.

We won’t go into much detail about the format of Division I because it is the same as last time. In other words, we have 8 teams in total, 2 of which came from Division II. Speaking of the devil, the matches from the Dota 2 Div II will take place once those in Div I are over.

Every Dota 2 region in Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC has something to offer. However, some teams are clearly on another level if we compare them to others, so let’s go through 5 of the teams you should keep an eye on. Remember that we will provide you with daily tips about some of the hottest matches in the DPC, so follow ESTNN for more information.

Gaimin Gladiators

It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that one of the Dota 2 teams to look out for during Division I in Tour 3 is Gaimin Gladiators. If someone had any doubts about the best team in the world right now, the Berlin Major gave them the answer. Gaimin Gladiators is the most dominant squad in the world and has won 3 consecutive big Dota 2 events. This makes the squad the big favorite in Western Europe.

What’s interesting about Gaimin Gladiators is the way they play. The team is always one step ahead of its competitors, including Team Liquid. Most Dota 2 fans think that Nisha and co. are better, but in reality, they haven’t been able to defeat GG and lost all 3 finals.
Even though the Western Europen Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC is not easy, GG will most likely have no problems and secure a top 4 finish. Of course, we are still waiting to see what will happen because the squad has some pretty big games ahead of it.

Team Liquid

Aside from Gaimin Gladiator, the second big name that Dota 2 fans must keep an eye on during Tour 3. The team from Western Europe is one of the best in the world, and it has proven it countless times in the last several months. Despite the fact that it didn't win any events, Team Liquid always finished second or third, which is pretty impressive.

Team Liquid hasn’t been able to overcome Gaimin Gladiators lately, but the team didn't have any problems against the rest. That's why we think that it will be one of the main contenders to win the next Major. Keep in mind that the betting odds for Team Liquid won’t be that high because the squad is almost always the favorite in WEU.

OG

Even though many people may not agree, we think that OG will be one of the teams that you should pay attention to during Tour 3. OG’s recent performance at The Berlin Major 2023 was pretty good, even though it had to play with 2 standings. That said, the team is back with its original roster, so it is time to see if it can defeat the best Dota 2 teams in the world.

Tour 3 in Division I of the Western European Dota 2 scene is extremely competitive, and OG barely made the cut for the last Major. However, since the team’s most recent results have been pretty good, we expect it to finish among the best 4.

9 Pandas

The next name on the list you should watch at Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC is 9 Pandas. The squad from Eastern Europe surprised everyone with its impressive results at the Berlin Major 2023. Although it didn’t win, Ramzes666 and the rest secured pretty impressive results.

What makes 9 Pandas dangerous is that the team understands the current meta well.

Although BetBoom Team and Team Spirit will try to challenge 9 Pandas, we think that the squad will prevail and finish among the best 3. That said, EEU is known as being one of the most unpredictable Dota 2 regions in the world. Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if some of the results surprised us.

Speaking of results, many online bookmakers will try to provide people with good odds. Don’t forget to check our daily predictions about some of the hottest matches.

Team Aster

Many people underestimate Team Aster and assume the squad is not on the same level as its European counterparts. Although this might be true up to a point, Aster proved that it could take the big shots. The most recent results from The Berlin Major showed that the Dota 2 team is the best in its region, so we expect it to have no problems against its opponents.

If we take a look at the other teams in China, we can see that Xtreme Gaming and PSG.LGD will be the main contender that Aster has to go through. Fortunately, China has 4 slots for the Bali Major, so we expect the team to qualify for the final Major.

Shopify Rebellion

That last name in Tour 3 of the 2023 DPC that Dota 2 fans and bettors should pay close attention to is Shopify Rebellion. The latter are among the world's best and stand out in NA. Even though this region only has 2 slots for the Major, we have no doubt that Arteezy’s team will take one of them.

With that said, the clash between TSM and SR is always an arena where everything is possible. So, expect to see a lot of surprising picks once it is time for these two teams to go head to head.
