HCS: Native Gaming Picks Up Coach Hoaxer

After a season of constant success with Cloud9, Hoaxer has decided to end his run with the team and move on to new opportunities. It took only a week for Hoaxer to be picked up by Native Gaming after leaving Cloud9. It is clear what the team sees in him as a way to take them from an underdog upper-bracket run to a constant force in HCS. He coached Cloud9 to a Major Championship win, Regional Championship win, and Runner-Up finish at the Halo World Championship 2022. He's put himself in the premiere category of Halo coaches, and left us all on the edge of our seats when Cloud9 announced they were releasing their roster.
Spacestation Gaming were the lucky organization to pick up the 2022 Cloud9 roster, but already having long-time coach Elamite on the roster left no room for Hoaxer. Now, with the players on Spacestation, and coach Hoaxer on Native, it is unknown whether they will be able to face off against each other at any point in the upcoming season.
Native Gaming
Native Gaming has two rosters. Their low-placing Major team “Native Gaming”, and their Third Place World Championship team “Native Gaming Red”. With Hoaxer being added to the roster of “Native Gaming” it is uncertain what role he will play in the organization. Will he only be responsible for the “Native Gaming” roster, or will he collaborate with the coaches of “Native Gaming Red” working with both rosters? To simplify the question, has he been added to the roster to improve a team's placements, or to guide a 2023 Halo World Championship run? This is one of the most successful coaches in Halo Infinite thus far, and to see him used as no more than a consultant for a low-placing roster would be a disappointing turn, to say the least.
