New In-Game Cinematic for Dragonflight 10.1 Embers of Neltharion Drops

Blizzard has released the trailer for Dragonflight 10.1 ahead of its release in the first week of May.

“Opening the Way” sets us up for what we can expect to see in Dragonflight patch 10.1. The new Dragonflight 10.1 cinematic sets the stage for the events of the patch. The key part is how we'll enter the new zone. Those that have played the PTR will be aware of the massive hole in the bottom of the zone; well, now we know why that hole is there. The cinematic shows the 3 incarnates uncovering the path to Neltharion's secret Laboratory, hidden away beneath the Dragon Isles.

Embers of Neltharion will release on May 3rd in NA, and May 4th in Europe, and will be the first major content patch to release since Dragonflight launched. We'll see loads of new content, including a new Mythic +season, a new raid, and with it, a new load of tier sets.

One interesting part of the trailer, as noted by Wowhead, happened right at the end of the trailer:
