Apex Legends: Respawn Teases Upcoming Playable Legend

Respawn Entertaiment have released a slew of teasers giving a hint at Apex Legend’s upcoming playable character.

Right after concluding Apex Legends Global Series almost a week ago, the game developers have dropped several images that tease the arrival of a new playable Legend in the game.

Suppose we believe the content from what seems to be the most significant Apex Legends leak from last year. In that case, the notes probably hint at an upcoming character of Icelandic origins rumored to be named Vantage. The leaked file dump revealed that Vantage would be a Recon agent, possessing efficient sharpshooter abilities. That leak, however, still unconfirmed, gave Apex fans the correct information that Valkyrie would be the next recon agent at that time.

The images include six diary entries. With a childish doodle across the paper, they reference the character's mother and tease a winged companion, which will most likely be incorporated into one of their abilities.

Vantage Leaked Ability Kit

Four months ago, Reddit user and dataminer revealed the entire ability kit of Vantage through a gameplay video showcasing the upcoming agent in action. Do note that this video is still unconfirmed; until now, Respawn, or EA haven't commented or addressed the leaked gameplay video. The playable legend's abilities revolve around using snipers and gathering information.

With Season 14 scheduled to drop at the start of August, Apex fans should expect more information to be released by Respawn soon. Apex Legends: Hunted is confirmed to release on August 9, with Respawn sharing an image of what appears to be our first look at the recon legend. Players who started battle royale on July 23 were greeted with an in-game message showing a prompt an upcoming trailer for the new season, along with an image showing how Vantage will look in-game.
