PUBG Continental Series 5 Features Regional Qualifiers & Initial Prize Pot of $1 Million

The next major esports event for PUBG is here.


KRAFTON has announced PUBG Continental Series 5 containing four regional tournaments including Americas, Europe, Asia and Asia-Pacific.

Each region will feature sixteen teams who will compete for more than $250,000 USD, which means the event will have a total prize pool of $1 million USD. The event will also have the Pick’ Em Challenge crowdfunding similar to previous challenges.

North and Latin America

The NA and LATAM qualifiers begin today and will run for a week. Each qualifier will comprise three to four rounds, depending on the number of teams. Top eight teams from the sub-regional qualifiers will move to the sub-regional Group Stage, which will begin from August 20-26.

Separate Group Stage competitions for NA and LATAM will see top eight qualified teams join top 16 teams from each sub-region ESL PUBG Masters: Phase 2 Group Stage. Fighting for their share of $25,000 USD, top six teams from each sub-regional Group Stage will take part in the PCS 5 Americas Grand Finals. While on August 28-29, the 7th and 14th place teams from each Group Stage will get a last chance to fight and compete for the Finals.
