The press release is in, and it's time for every PUBG Mobile fan to get pumped. 


PUBG likes to end the year with a bang and the annual PUBG Mobile Global Championship. That time is fast approaching.

Forty-eight of the top-ranked PMGC teams from the various regional leagues compete in the PMGC League for one of 13 spots in the Grand Finals. Several teams will receive direct invitations to the Grand Finals, rounding it out to a showdown between these elite 16 teams, who will compete for a $4 million prize pool and the title of champion.

PMGC League takes place throughout November, with the Grand Finals bringing in the new year strong in January 2023. But if you're looking for some competitive PUBG action now, you won't have to wait long.

Who Will Own The Circle?

Partnering with Xperia, Gamers8, and ESL Gaming, the World Invitational kicks off on August 11.

Eighteen teams from around the world will face off in the World Invitational to see who will Own the Circle and get their share of a $2 million prize pool.

The Afterparty Showdown of Week 2 will have 12 teams competing against one another. The top five teams from Week 1 automatically secure spots. Joining these five teams, will be 7Sea Esports, winner of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SHOWDOWN, five fan-voted teams from the Americas, Southeast Asia, MENA, South Asia, and Europe regions and a specially invited team. An additional $1 million in prize money will be up for grabs.

Regional Clash

If you can't wait for the Global Championship to kick off, tune into the Regional Clash.

From September 23-25, PMPL (SEA) will square off against PEL (China) in a regional clash of the year. Tencent has indicated that more regional clashes will be coming in 2023.
