TenZ Comes Back to Sentinels Starting Roster

The star player for Sentinels make a return to the active roster after missing four VCT Americas series

Sentinels have announced the return of Tyson “TenZ” Ngo to the active roster. He was benched prior to the VCT Americas Superweek due to health complications. The star player was supposed to come back to the roster after the two Superweek games, but Sentinels’ head coach Adam “kaplan” Kaplan decided to give TenZ a break, which extended to four series in the VCT League.

Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, the former OpTic player and the substitute for Sentinels, replaced TenZ during these few weeks. His arrival looked great from the very start as he helped the team pick up a map against LOUD, the strongest team in the Americas League. Then, the 2-0 victory against MIBR and Marved being the MVP of the series made the roster look even better.

However, Sentinels had a very poor performance in the recent two games, facing fellow North American squads and getting dominated on Fracture both times. These disappointing results have prompted the team to bring their sharpshooter back into the lineup, as he’ll play the rest of two matches in the Regular Season.

Sentinels Have Parted Ways with IGL dephh – George Geddes

TenZ will be replacing Rory “dephh” Jackson on the active roster in the coming weeks. And according to Valorant journalist George Geddes, the in-game leader for the team has departed from the roster. Therefore, Marved will remain on the team as Sentinels get ready for Week 7 of the VCT Americas.

Many are speculating Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi to lead the team in absence of dephh. The former LOUD player has been crucial to Sentinels’ few wins in the VCT.
