MIBR’s Star Duelist heat Steps Down from the Active Roster

The Brazilian team will be playing with their sixth man in the remaining two matches of VCT Americas’ Regular Season

Due to personal reasons, Olavo “heat” Marcelo, the Duelsit player for MIBR, is stepping down from the team’s starting lineup. MIBR announced that their substitute player, André “TxoziN” Saidel, will take heat’s spot for the remainder of the VCT Americas League, as they have two more games to play in the Regular Season.

MIBR are currently at a 2-5 record as they failed to win any games after their impressive start. Their Duelist player heat has been the best player of the team so far with only a 0.94 VLR rating. While he hasn’t been consistently picking up the MVP spot for the team, MIBR’s two victories demanded a lot from this young player, which he delivered.

TxoziN, the replacement for heat, is a Controller player who was part of Rise Gaming last year and played in the Brazilian VCT Open Qualifier for his team. The Brazilian joined MIBR in last year’s November but hasn’t been playing professionally since April 2022.
