Both of these squads are coming from a 0-2 record as they are about to face each other in Round 3 of the Legends Stage. FURIA didn’t have to fight in the previous stage due to a clean run in the RMRs. G2, on the other hand, had a good 3-0 record in the Challengers Stage but aren’t looking like themselves in this part of the Major. FURIA
The Brazilians had a decent first half against Ninjas in Pyjamas in their Round 2 game. However, they couldn’t score a single round on the T side, turning a close game into a disappointing defeat. drop and arT had only one frag in the second half, and the star player KSCERATO also didn’t have an answer. This is not a great look for a team who directly qualified for the Legends Stage with an incredible 4-0 run in the RMRs, and winning against G2 will require much from this roster.

After a clean 3-0 record in the Challengers Stage, we expected G2 to bring the same pace in this part of the Major. However, even with NiKo’s excellent performance, G2 faced an upset against Bad News Eagles, a game that looked like a win for the Europeans with a dominating T side but ended with a sloppy CT setup. However, we won’t be saying goodbye to G2 in this match, especially with m0NESY being in great form.
